ColumbiaWomen's Crestwood Low Rise Trekking and Hiking Shoes

These are fairly light. They are comfortable and fit true to size. I am taking mine abroad on holiday so I haven't tested if they are waterproof. The soles are rugged and offer good grip. I like the style and colour..not too girlie and not too masculine.

Having always had Merrell walking shoes in the past, I started struggling with pain in my big toe joint/small bunion. I was trying to find something with a wide-ish toe box that also suited my flat, skinny feet & ankles. These fit the bill! Nice and solid, structured enough to handle uneven and rocky terrain but not so stiff it hurts. They aren't waterproof which is a shame but I knew that when I bought them so it's not a negative. The arch support is low which really suits me. I've walked a good number of miles in them now over a few months, they've been to the lake district, dartmoor, and most recently to the coast of Italy where the terrain was very steep, dry & rocky. On a few occasions my foot slipped on sharp gravelly rocks and I thought for sure i'd have ripped them or put a hole in them but they still look as new.I'd definitely recommend them for summer/dry hiking! Will be trying out some more Columbia shoes/boots soon i'm sure!

Received these yesterday. Wore them today for my first walk in them. Couldn’t be happier , slightly more width than my normal ones and feel great. Normally take a 6 , got these 6 1/2 . Couldn’t be happier so far. Would not hesitate to buy again.

Great shoe. Not as lightweight as I’d imagined (not that they’re heavy) but ideal for wearing on trips abroad. Very comfy. Fit true to size, although, if you like wearing a REALLY thick sock, you may want to try a half size larger. Really happy with them.

Love Columbia shoes. So comfy straight out of the box. I usually vary from Size 4 to 5 depends on what type of footwear. With Walking boots I normally go up a whole size for thick socks. The last pair of Columbia trainers I bought were in size 5 and they fitted well with insoles. I saw that some people said they these were a little wider so I just went up half a size to 4.5. These fitted perfectly. So I would say only go up 1/2 a size for socks.Nice colour, grey and turquoise and can wear them all day like slippers.

I don't normally write reviews but am so happy with these that I had to let others know how great they are! First time wear yesterday, 8k walk, so comfortable, great grip, perfect fit (5.5) no problems whatsoever. I am a moderate walker and I can honestly say these are the best hiking shoes I have ever worn. Will be purchasing another pair in a different colour. Highly recommended.

Arrived on time and have just tried on for first time. They are fabulous and so comfortable. I have never bought trainers before and due to a bad foot injury was very dubious about them, not having had any type of walking/running footwear before, but I sized up because of my injury, but they fit perfectly with loads of space room in the toe area and lovely support around the foot. So thank you Amazon. Would highly recommend, without a dout. Very well made too.

Seems like a decent shoe altho not the waterproof version. Photos show it's a grey shoe but it's actually blue.

I ordered a size 5 but they sent me a size 5 W (wide) which is way too big and wide. I have several Columbia sports and hiking shoes, all size 5 normal or medium. The size dropdown box doesn't show W after any of the sizes, so of course you assume medium sizes. The one star is for the inaccurate description and the hassle to return the incorrect size.
