Initially, when I stumbled upon this giant, metal beauty of a paper towel holder, I only bought it because of the cute little octopus and all his wiggly little tentacles. I didn't care to read the reviews, nor did I bother to read any of the specifications. That darned octopus was adorable and I had to have it!My partner on the other hand, bless his beautiful little logical heart, was concerned about the stability of it. He was especially worried about whipping the little 8 armed fella across the kitchen when he ripped a sheet off the roll.WELL, allow to to eliminate those fears.THIS KRAKEN AIN'T GOING ANYWHERE!This guy is solid and can certainly handle the strength of a 42 year old punk rocker from the good holidays ripping a sheet of paper towel from its tentacles! In fact, more concerned for my Partners safety. I would hate for him to pull a hammy because a deceptively cute little octopus decided he didn't want to give up the goods.Though, if there's ever an intruder, our adorable little papertowel holder will make a great weapon! I actually feel bad for the person who decides to break into our home. Can you imagine how embarrassing it would be to be locked up in the clink with scary, hardened criminals, and you got beat up by a papertowel holder? Oh, and then to explain why you have a permanent imprint of an adorable little octopus on your face? Boy howdy, that's a doozy for sure!Only complaint, the towels on the roll tend to fall down since there's nothing holding it all together.So, in summary, it's cute, and greag for the price!But, the peace of mind I get knowing I have a fierce and strong guard octopus that also happens to hold my papertowels, priceless.

I will never need to buy a paper towel holder again! WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE ABOUT A FROG WITH A LONG LEGGY??? Oh my god. It's also decently heavy, too, which I'm a huge fan of! I should note that the paper towels will not sit perfectly straight, due to the shape of the frog, but if that sort of thing doesn't bother you, then I recommend you go for it.This paper towel holder is perfect for anyone quirky who wants to add a bit of charm to something that would ordinarily be a boring everyday item.

I like that it is cute and whimsical…. But it is Not able to hold paper towels without covering the dog up A Lot! ?

I ordered the gold octopus thinking it would be a nice, gold color. It was almost a yellow gold and I had to go over it with gold leaf paint to get the color I wanted. Otherwise, the product is solid and is in fact cast iron.

It's great and it looks very cool

This thing is amazing. It’s hefty and comes with stoppers to avoid sliding or scratching your counters. It’s a great value for the price. I use mine for paper towels and the neck is a bit short but I’m still happy.

1) the dinosaur is not long enough to hold any brand of paper towels, 2) this isn’t “gold” it’s yellow, 3) the paint is chipping all over it, 4) it’s wildly uneven and wobbles on the counter. It’s just a terrible product. Cute idea, but clearly not well thought out.

Love the whimsical nature and goes well with my nautical theme.

En lo personal no me gustan los perros pequeños, pero éste nos gustó muchísimo, porque a demás de ser bonito, es práctico y trabaja cargando el papel higiénico. Éste si es útil.
