Useful Reinforcements for Storm Windows
I used these to give to my handyman to reinforce the corners of my storm windows, that were coming apart. They worked well.

Protective film on the braces which might account for reviewers writing they looked unfinished.
My wife's new hobby is making barn quilts. She asked me to frame this one for a mother's day present and afterwards I thought the corners needed more support than gorilla glue. I originally went to a large box store where I found zinc plated four count smaller braces for $2.78/(4) each. As these quilts hang outside plan was to coat the zinc plated with some rust preventer. Went on Amazon and thought I'd take a chance on these at $8.99/(10) each with free returns. Assuming some of the "free" Prime Shipping is baked into the price, if I didn't like them I'd send them back. They showed up in two days and like some reviewers wrote didn't look that great, but I figured they'd be on the back side out of view. Picture one, with the package of screws laying on the quilt is where I started out with them upside down as that was the best looking side. Turns out the "painted" look is actually a protective film. Remove that and you see a much nicer finish with recesses for the screws. As a bonus, there were 12 in the package so I can do two more frames. So with 12, that works out to about $3/4 braces for stainless steel v. $2.78/4 braces for zinc and included shipping so not much to complain about. And the stainless steel braces were larger than those from the big box store.

Good
Came in a little near up, protective plastic did its job. Works great for what I needed. Screws could have been a little better. One or two were unusable. But overall, good.

Good quality for the money
I see people complaining about it sturdiness. I think it's really good quality for the money. Another complaint I saw in the comments is that it does not look new. Yes it protective film has scratches, but the metal is not or very minor, which is normal for this kind of parts.

Sharp edges, total garbage
I took my chances on buying this against the advice of other reviewers. Believe them. As of August 2022 this product is a piece of junk. It comes with this presumably white protective cover but the edges of the metal are so sharp I had to handle them delicately just to take a photo. Don't waste your time.

great value
If you read the 1 star reviews some people think they are painted white and used. Just peel away the protective film and they are perfect. The only sharp edges are on the one side that attaches to the project.

remember to peel the protective film - screws are soft metal, heads are easily stripped
Stainless Steel L Braces (3.1 x 3.1 inch, 80 x 80 mm) Flat Right Angle Brackets (10 brackets w/5 screws each): At first glance, the braces looked terrible with apparent random scratches and black streaks. But those were all on the white protective film. Once peeled, the brackets looked fine. They also functioned well. The countersunk holes were appreciated. My main complaint is about the very soft metal Phillips screws. Many of the heads stripped, even when being driven into pine wood with a relatively low torque battery powered screwdriver. Fortunately, I had better screws on-hand.
