Q: After writing a great review of this bag the handle has ripped off from one side of my bag! I don’t carry a ton of stuff. Is this normal?

I cary lots of stuff every day as I use it for a diaper bag and purse. It's pretty durable. I would say maybe you got a defective one. Definitely reach out to Amazon or the company

Q: Can you fit a water bottle?

A water bottle would fit in one of the many pockets but there is no specific pocket designed for just water bottles if you’re thinking of the mesh pockets that some bags have for bottles.

Q: I plan to use this for college, are the handles sturdy?

Have any of you carried at least three college text books in total 2,500 3,500 pages? Is this tote sturdy enough? If in 3 months you had a tear let me know.
