Worth the buy
Bought a year ago and waited to see how well it was going to preform. It has been flawless and works great. Have it on a timer on 2hrs off 2hrs, 3xs a day. It has been a lifesaver for my pond and fish.

Great pump and aerator, but do be aware of unintended consequences
I was concerned about Cyanobacteria blooms since my dog LOVES my pond so much. This aeration system was an inexpensive option and easy install for my situation and did wonders in clearing the water. The down side is that at low summer levels my pond is only 6-8’ deep and the crystal clear water allowed emergent weeds to absolutely take over. It’s too late for this season but I’ll be employing some combination of dye and grass carp to keep milfoil and water grass at bay. This is in no way the fault of the aeration: so far so good on this system, and the water between the weeds looks tap water clear. I can’t get a Secchi measurement since I don’t have a boat, but I’m certain I’ve got minimum 5-6’ visibility now.Update: 2 years later, still operating without issue. Dark blue dye has helped milfoil but late august is still a mess. Emergent grass gives shelter for algae at the pond edges, and the only thing that has impacted the stout shallow water bulrush is mechanical removal. Test applications of herbicides haven’t touched it.Pretty satisfied with the pond pump though!

So far so good
Compressor works well. Sinkable line is heavy duty but is starting to breakdown after a year. Diffuser is decent. Holes are tiny. Hard to clean well.

I’ve been using it for a year and it’s great
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this product for almost a year in my pond. It’s amazing to see the difference that it has made. It has been running all year long without any problems.

Great so far
The media could not be loaded. Easy to set up and definitely moves the water. The algae has not been this bad (see pic) by our dock since I installed this…I think simply keeping the water moving makes a big difference. Also could’ve just naturally went away, hard to tell. We are in a 10 acre cove on a 600 acre lake, and I’ve noticed others having their aerators running by their docks as well, particularly in coves. I’m curious what impact this will have as far as aeration goes in such a big body of water. I had an issue with attaching the diffuser to the base (I must have tightened it a little too much), but the seller immediately sent me a replacement.

Running strong for years
My Dad asked me what aerator I had for my pond, so I went back through my Amazon purchases to find it and figured I’d write a quick review. Couldn’t be more pleased with this. It’s been running for 4 years now (30 minutes on, 30 minutes off) all day every day in the heat, the rain, and the snow and wind. Still working great. Highly recommend.

Working well so far
Working well so far has a very good airflow. It’s very quiet. It doesn’t run very hot even though some say it does. I’m running with one diffuser and will add a second because there’s ample airflow for two diffusers. I’ve had it for a couple months and will update if something happens later on. I attached a nylon rope and a boat float, for easy maintenance of the diffuser.

Only lasted 1 1/2 years
Worked great for a year and and half running on a timer 12 hours a day. Now pump runs but little air comes out.
