I like to give him instruments he knows how to play
This was a holiday gift for my brother, who's been a drummer since he was a small child. I like to give him instruments he knows how to play, but also that are a bit different or decorative so he can store them out in the open. This drum is absolutely beautiful, with the handpainted stem and the double drums! Everything worked in tandem, and he was able to adjust the strings for tightness and sound very easily. This is perfect for him as he likes to sit in front of the tv and just thump around, and it's so well-made and painted he can keep it on a shelf in his living room. Highly recommend this company and these drums!
