Jacks manufactured on 5-3-24 are defective
I replaced 2 of these on the front of my RV last year, no problems. Bought 2 more for the rear this year. One was manufactured in June of 2024, no problems. The other was manufactured on 5-3-24 and I was unable to remove the aluminum plug where the hydraulic lines attach. Tried everything short of vice grips on the plug. Would not budge. Returned to Amazon. Bought another. Same problem same manufacture date of 5-3-24. Returned again. Bought another. Again same problem, same manufacture date. Should mention that all 4 of these were discounted due to previous returns. Called Lippert, they said they had never heard of this trouble. Reordered another at non discounted price. Wish me luck.
