this is a really handy thermometer, it works quickly and you dont have to try and stick in a childs ear or under there arm which when there a frigidity as my son is a Knightmare to hold him in position log enough to get a reading, this though you press the button hold it there for a second or two and get the reading straight away even the color to tell you if it green amber or red, it much better than the old thermometer we were using

Nice thermometer, but battery life rubbish! Used mine twice & when turned on again two days later, batteries showing ‘Lo’…

I purchased this baby thermometer expecting accurate and consistent readings, but it has been a complete disappointment. The temperature fluctuates wildly within seconds, making it impossible to trust. One moment it shows a fever, and the next, a normal temperature—without even moving it! This is extremely frustrating, especially when trying to monitor a sick baby.I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, as it can cause unnecessary worry or, worse, fail to detect a real fever. Waste of money!
