Yuasa NP7-12 12V/7Ah Sealed Lead Acid Battery with F1 Terminal

This battery was a replacement for my home burglar alarm system and fit perfectly. It has long durability and longevity. It was a good value for the money and will be good for about 7 - 8 years.

As described, it is an exact replacement of an existing battery.

Used a the battery backup in a commercial fire alarm system (2 batteries; 24 volt). They work as expected. The last set (same model) was installed in May 2021. Four+ years of continuous trickle charge with a recent 8-hour power outage (scheduled) is probably about right for a small gel pack.

This is a good replacement battery for NAPCO Magnum Alert alarm system. Plug and play. I waited for a day for the battery to charge up. Then press and hold the number 1 key. This tests the battery and the siren. When the alarm sounds, enter the security to turn off the siren. I think this is supposed to last for 5 years, but I'm only on my first month. Hope it will last 5 years.

This is my preferred brand for my battery needs. I own several Uninterrupted Power Supplies that use 12VDC and when is time for the replacement (every 3 to 4 years) I always use YUASA. What I found concerning is the way they are shipped. There is some bubble bag that I believe works as a formality because the battery is lose in the carton box. The other one is that the terminals do not have plastic covers that are supposed to be installed before shipping in order to prevent accidental shortcuts and fire.
