Kunnan IM7 Series Spin Fishing Rod (1-Piece)

35$ ? You could double that and get your dollar's worth - maybe triple. Action is maybe just less than fast but generally adequate for my uses - river Smallmouth Bass. If I have a single complaint it is that the reel lock ring comes loose. Ouch - I has to re-tighten it occasionally. Should I ever buy another? Only if I want a good general purpose spinning rod at a very low price. I own 7 in total. No regrets.

I have one of these poles and really like the Kunnan brand but I cannot give it a good rating as the delivery method is inexcusably inadequate. I had read reviews where the tip was broken due to the box being too small. As you can see in the picture, the box mine was delivered in was plenty long, but it had been folded over several times making kindling out of the rod. There were no warnings on the box about bending it, nor was there anything around the rod to protect it other than a thin plastic sleeve as shown in the picture. Great rod; they just can't get it to you in one piece. Definitely NOT worth the hassle.

I am a 40 year fishing veteran and I am very picky about my poles - This is actually a great pole - strong and tight, yet sensitive and flexible. A+ value and quality. Feels like a $120 Diawa pole.

Wanted to try a medium light action rod for bass fishing. Am using this with 8lb mono line. The biggest fish so far is about a 3lb smallie. Worked good so far. The reason for 4 stars is the lack of a "foot" at the end of the cork handle. I added a rubber furniture foot.

Absolutely love the action on this rod and I want to thank Amazon for taking care of a minor problem so completely. Very nice rod for $60-$70 and even more so for $40.

Excellent rod for the price however I ordered two and only 1 made it intact. I would suggest asking for extra packing material when ordering as ups doesn't seem to do well with such long packages.

So this was a 5' 6" 1-piece rod that was packaged in a 5' box! Well of course the entire end was broke off but oddly enough the end piece that snapped off was not in box. This means the rod was already broke and end snapped off before it was packaged...not good!

Very pretty rod--emerald green. Returned it because there was a flaw in the lacquer covering the blank, which was noticeable. Also, I echo the packaging concerns. The rod was packed in a box that was two inches shorter than the rod, so that the tip of the rod was outside the packaging. Could have easily broken off in shipping.
