This is a beautiful, practical, well-made stand that works wonderfully for displaying cupcakes or other foods. Please read the product description, it is very thorough. You must assemble it when you receive it, but it is very easy to do, the instructions are clear and concise. The stand is fairly sturdy when put together. It stands 18" when all put together. There is 4" clearance between each tier. There are four 2" pegs (feet) that screw into the bottom plate. A mini Philips head screwdriver is included along with all the necessary screws. They even provide a cloth bag for storing the stand (when it's unassembled of course). You are not limited to assembling the 5 tiers as you see in the picture. You can use as many or as few as needed. The acrylic surface will scratch very easily, so it is best not to use any metal utensils for serving from the stand. Paper doilies would be a wise addition. Clean only with mild dish soap and a soft cloth. Wipe dry with a soft towel. Also, it is best to place the stand in its serving location before loading it up with your desserts to avoid anything sliding off when moving the stand. I give this item a 5 star rating based on its affordability, practicality, and durability.

I researched several cake/cupcake stands and I am so very pleased with this one. It is easy and quick to assemble. I assembled it a day before I needed to display it. I don't enjoy assembling items, however, this item took me on the first assembly appx 7 mins, and less than that my second assembly. I'm sure it would have been less time for someone with better assembly skills. It is nice looking and compliments my delicious desserts. The delivery was on time and in excellent condition. I highly recommend!!! I will definitely buy additional.

I have searched high and low for a tower that would hold several King Cakes for my son's Groom's cake. I decided on this brand because of the ratings. It arrive on time and in good condition. Nothing missing. Assembles easy and seems sturdy. I will know more after it's all assembled with the 3 cake tiers and the decoration on the top. I am adding washers under each layer just as an added support. Probably don't need it, but I just want to be sure it will be sturdy. Because we are going to be cutting on it, I used cardboard cake rounds, enlarged the center hole and covered with gold foil. Will post a picture when it's all put together. I used this recently to hold cupcakes and also a 6 inch layer cake on the very top for a 50th wedding anniversary party. The stand worked very well for this....the top wobbled some with the heavy 6 inch cake on it, but held up just fine. The stand itself is made from a decent, heavy acrylic. It looks very nice, but I am concerned that it'll become scratched over time, so I'm storing it very carefully. It does come with a nice storage bag for the pieces, but I am putting each piece back into the plastic wrap it came in before storing back into the box it came in...which is a nice size and not difficult to store on a shelf at all. The only complaint I might have is that 2 of the leg pieces were not wrapped in plastic when it came, though all the other were. These 2 pieces have little "chips" all around their edges. I did not ask for replacement parts, as the legs can't be seen underneath the stand when it is up and I didn't feel like messing with it.

This stand was a little confusing to setup first, but once you finally set it up, it gets easier to do. It allows you to choose how many levels you need. So you don't have to use all 5 levels. I think it's pretty sturdy. I used it for 2 events and it was great!

I bought the stand to use for my 25th anniversary. The plan was to use the bottom 3 tiers for the cupcakes and the 4th one for a small cake for us to cut. That plan did work so well because the cake was WAY heavier than I thought it would be. I had purchased the one with the riser feet on it so I used that first level for my cake and it was perfect.However.....I LOVE...LOVE....LOVE the cupcake stand and it will be used for many other events in the future. I had bought another stand , from another company several years ago it was useless....the plates cracked the first time they were used. They plates are very strong and the solid "columns" that connects the different levels are very stable. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a beautiful way to display cupcakes.
