This is a very study shovel. It’s a little smaller than what I wanted but I still kept it because I seems likes a great tool. There are different features that I think would come handy especially in the winter.

Didn't cost alot of money!! Works like it should! Locks in place! Was bought for nephews 6 and 10 for their survival bag and they love em!! Hasn't left their hands since they got them. They have been digging and chopping down small trees and haven't broke or bent. It's well made and fits in their small packs easily. I'm pleased! And arrived on time!!

This is not what I was expecting for a good camping shovel, way smaller than what meets my needs, However my wife is an avid gardener and when she saw it she fell in love with it and uses it everyday. By all means this is a well made shovel, pick and saw combo, strong steel, sharp pointed blade and sharp saw teeth and when you hand tighten the locking ring there is no play or wiggle to it. This would make for a nice strong camp shovel for some campers but for my needs I need a bigger one. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars does not reflect the tool itself but rather the cheap flimsy carrying case wouldn't last long if you used it a lot.

This shovel needs to be at least twice the size. The case is trash and handle should be one piece. 2 piece handle would be fine if it was sealed at both ends but is open so not good for placing small survival items. The advertisement showing this shovel for snow removal must be a joke. Spring would come before you could get car dug out. It is sturdy and will make a good garden shovel for small tight areas and digging a cat hole if needed.

I wanted to get a compact shovel for keeping in my snow backpack when snowboarding as part of my effort to keep items in there for emergency situations. Many other shovels that I have seen were either too large or too small. This is a good size, lightweight, and the multi-use functions with the cutting ability and saw makes for a great added tool. I am hoping that I am never in a situation where I need to use it for an emergency, but I am comforted by the fact that I have to have it if I do need it.

Chose this over a similar model with a open handle. I liked the sleek look and comfort use of having just a straight tube handle. Yes you always have to screw in the handle, but thats why I chose this style cause it works for me.

I have even gifted followers this shovel and they loved it.It’s durable, strong and compact. I love how it folds, I love how one side has ridges which can be used for cutting

guess if I was a baby using it I could be satisfied, it is beyond small....my 16yo daughters purse is bigger than it's storage pouch... unless you are using this to dig in a 12 inch pot, you will be thoroughly disappointed.....too little to evem come close to earning the name "shovel"
