Very pleased with my purchasei
Fits my fender japan hybrid II tele very nice. the pickup holes are a tad bit narrow for the neck pickup screws. all i did was drill out the two holes a tiny bit so the pickup height adjustment screws will flow thru easy. otherwise reinstalling the pickups with the springs will be frustrating.

Can fit the Monoprice Indio Retro Classic Telecaster with modifications
Doesn’t look quite as sparkly as I had hoped but still more interesting than the stick white pickguard that came with my Indio Retro Classic Tele style guitar. In my pics you can see that I used a scraper (scrape perpendicular to the edge to shave off material) and sandpaper to shave down material from the “horn” (in pink is where I shaved it down) as it was a bit too close to the edge for my liking. I shaved a little more than I would have liked. I also wrapped sandpaper around a couple different sized dowels (5/8” and 1.25”, which is the exact diameter of the control plate pocket) and scraped those into the control pocket of the pickguard to make it fit (also in pink). The green circles indicate screws that needed new holes in the guitar. The other screw holes were just barely off. I filled all the holes with toothpicks and wood glue and piloted new holes. The yellow circle shows where one screw is closer to the edge of the pickguard than I would have liked following shaving down. I wouldn’t have shaved down less in that area because any more and the edge of the guard is too close to the edge of the guitar. So I have to live with that screw just at the edge of the guard. For this price, it’s a fun change and worth it. Just know that you’ll need to mess with it a bit.

IT FITS!!
In the short time I’ve been messing around finding better-looking - better-MATCHING is actually a better descriptor - pick guards for my guitars, I’ve found out what a crapshoot it is; proper fit & screw hole alignment - general quality - varies greatly from manufacturer-to-manufacturer. Well, this was the first replacement pick guard I ever bought for any guitar, but specifically, it was purchased for my Agave Blue 2001 MIM Fender Telecaster, which I have always loved, in spite of the boring white factory P.G. that came with it.If this guard had been a big problem to install, or if it’d been defective in some way, I would likely have just forgotten about pick guards for a while and just accepted whatever the companies feel like putting on a new guitar, for all future purchases…but this MusicLily pick guard was easy & fun to install, not to mention much better-looking on my Telecaster than the white one that had been on it from the time of purchase. I’ve since gone a bit pick-guard-batty with other guitars in my collection, adding a whole new, fun & completely unforeseen dimension to my joyous experiences in the world of guitar.Mostly I’ve managed to (luckily; not through any particularly-thorough circumspection or brilliance on my part) avoid poorly-templated PG’s, but there have been a couple I had to kinda re-connoiter…if this first- ever P.G. i bought had been like THAT to install, my first & last impression for the time being would’ve been, “Waaay more trouble than it’s worth”, but luckily it wasn’t, and for that I thank Music Lily; every industry has to “capture” new customers. There is a dire need in every industry for QUALITY manufacturers; if my experience with this pick guard is any indication, Music lily is one of these… I mean, I know it’s just a pick guard, a mostly cosmetic - not that that is unimportant - & functionally-unnecessary guitar part, but if you’ve ever bought one that doesn’t fit, you know what an awful experience that can be. It would have put me off changing anything, for probably a long time, if my first change-over had been unpleasant. I can’t emphasize that enough…So, really, thanks Music Lilly, and keep up the quality!

it fits ! every screw lined up more or less perfectly. the only portion i was a little worried about for a second was the neck pickup hole , but that ended up working perfect too!

Knowing it was not for the Tele I have, but...
I ordered this item knowing it was not made to fit the low-cost INDIO Retro Classic I have. I studied specs of guitar and pick guard, and made an educated guess that fitting it should be possible.Item arrived the next day, and was a very nice color contrast for the Blue Tele-style guitar I have. Removing the original guard and laying them on top of each other I could see minor, careful fitting would be required, and the redrilling 6 of the 8 screw holes also needed.Marking the two areas which would need sanding/filing to fit. Went to work on work bench and in about 30 minutes had a perfect fit. I mounted it to the guitar with the two holes which were correctly fitted. Then center punched the holes which were not aligned. Drilled carefully with a 1/8" bit, screwed in all screws, and WOW did it look very nice!Restrung guitar with De Addario NYXL 10-48's. Checked setup (all perfect), plugged into my tube amp, and was BLOWN AWAY! If you have not tried these strings yet, GET SOME, they are amazing!Overall, the pickguard looks beautiful on this $86.00 guitar, and with the guard and strings, I have a guitar I would play easily on stage, at a total cost of about $110.00!

Perfect Fit For Squire Bullet Telecaster
I have a Squire Bullet Telecaster in Lake Placid blue and really didn't like the minty white pickguard it came with, so I ordered the single-ply black guard to replace it. The quality of the new guard is on par with the original, the size and position off all the cutouts matched exactly, and all the holes lined up perfectly. My only gripe is that I wish it came with black screws instead of chrome. I just ordered those separately for a few bucks. It was well worth the cost and time/effort to install (all five minutes of it, lol). it completely transformed the look of the guitar.
