I bought this dock as I had some old monitors to connect t a laptop to create a 2nd smaller workstation. After some web searching including looking at similar items from other brands including known computer manufacturers, this was clearly the answer. There are more than enough USB ports both USB 2.0 and 3.0, an HDMI and display (DVI) port, ethernet and so on. They key is to download the display driver software, make sure you have the requisite cables, and the unit is truly plug and play and allow you to create a mini-workstation from any device that has a USB port - I'm currently running this off an old Surface 4 which only has one USB port and a mini display port so has expanded it's capacity tremendously; additional USB drives can be simply added on.Importantly, if there are any glitches the support team (based in China) are very helpful and prompt in general.A superb bit of kit and one of my best buys in 2022!

A sturdy solution for those whose laptops only have 1 HDMI port.Though slightly laggy at times, it works perfectly well without much irritation and allows you to host up to 3 screens (I use 2). 6 extra USB ports as an added bonus.Recommend!

Had it all set up in about 5 mins, works perfectly. Tried it on 2 laptops , on one the screens became jittery when the CPU usage got too high and on my more powerful one it worked perfectly as if the screens where connected directly to it.I would recommend opening up the programs you intend to use and checking that they aren't using up too much CPU on your machine, because using the displaylink screens will also require some of your CPU power at the same time.You don't need to install any special software just turn on your PC , plug it in and windows will install the drivers for you automatically (as long as you're connected to the internet)From searching around for different docking stations the price of this one is one of the cheapest and still works really well

I run 6 of these in a small office - plug and play, work very well, very robust - never a single glitch. Got a tacky pad on the bottom to stop it sliding around but lots of cables are still going to move it. Bit expensive for a hub but worth it for the lack of any agro in the office.

Great product - works just as it’s supposed to really. Only issue I had was with the sticky bit on the back...didn’t stay stuck for long! Would recommend using some command strips instead. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5.

Had a problem with the keyboard duplicating key depressions. Support was really good and they pointed me at a DELL Patch, problem solved. Thank you to Wavlink support!With many of us working from home we have looked at the laptop and though.t..... can I add and extra screen or 2, what about a keyboard and mouse, oh and maybe a network connection rather than this iffy WiFi connection? Well this does all this an more, single USB3 connection to your laptop and away you go.Great product and works without fault.

This docking station absolutely refuses to recognise my monitor either using the HDMI cable or VGA. The rest of the connections seem to link up ok but hardly useful if you can't see anything without running a separate cable. Defeats the object of a docking station really.... Wish I'd brought a different brand :-(
