Not metal, plastic. 🤦🏻♂️
Ford some reason, I thought this was would be metal, it's not, it's plastic. Add to the fact they give you a VERY thin strip of adhesive tape. I had to put on a sheet of 3M emblem tape. If you're advertising this as an "emblem", it should come with a decent amount of emblem tape, especially for the price. If I stuck it on with what they gave ya, there would be a dirt catching gap. No good.

There’s a reason why these are plastic
People need to stop ranting on why these are plastic and not metal the reason why is because metal rusts and can corrode over time and it is also heavier meaning that more weight will cause it to fall off easier all car manufacturer emblems are also made of plastic so people need to learn to just accept it
