Replacement Yoke Stirrups Wishbone Parts Kit Compatible with Bose Aviation Headset X (A10) Pair (Left and Right)

Parts are easy to replace and my Bose A10 feels better than new. I appreciate the little torx driver Central Sound gives you too. Only 2 shortcomings that would be an easy fix:1) The wire coming out the bottom of the yoke to the ear cup is difficult to secure with the original clamp (this is the torx screw). This is because there is no recessed slot manufactured into the yoke, as there is in the original. To jerry-rig this, I simply reversed sides with the clamps and it somewhat works to secure the bottom of the wire, but not quite as good as the original.2) Kind of a poor value. For the $45 paid, really it's just two pieces of plastic. I think less than $20 would be a reasonable price for this item, or at least for the $45 paid, make it a kit and include the ear pads.Overall, clear directions, great videos to walk you through the repair, and I like it that the plastic is more flexible than the original, hopefully obviating another such repair.

Product worked great. Follow the included instructions & it will do fine. Included with the kit is the needed very small torx driver and a Phillips head. If I get another year out of my headset it will be worth it.

Ear cushions are junk.

Glad to find the parts available. I do wish the fit and finish were a bit better, but if they hold up to use I will be happy with the results. The swivel area of the wishbone is a poor design for the original plastic from Bose. The new part is a bit smaller, but feels like a substantial replacement and is a different material. The swivel holes were a snug fit, but all in all, a pretty good fix. Pictures of the broken part and new as installed. Will update as time progresses. I think I will be very careful not to pull on the ear cups when putting on my headset:)

The replacement parts fit perfectly. You do need a small screwdriver. Overall i am very happy with them. My headset fits like new!

The original yokes are 14 years old, and tired. They cracked in several places and needed to be replaced. 45 minutes on hold with Bose to find out they don’t sell them. Enter these.They solved the problem, but they’re obviously 3D printed and not very substantial. You need to be extra careful re-installing the screws...there’s nothing there for them to bite into. Terrible. Mostly, the screw-in retainers at the bottom of each each to keep the wire in place doesn’t work because there’s no cut-out like original equipment. I reversed them and it appears to be a work around...but still dumb. Again, this is your only option for Bose X A-10s...but they’re sub-optimal. Time will tell if they hold up.

Replacement yokes are well built and easy to install.
