For the bad reviews given to this product due to not fitting properly. It clearly <— states it is a universal mount. Meaning there is a chance it will not fit your vehicle. They include all the dimensions for you to measure out if it will fit. I bought this for my RAM TRX and it intact does not fit, i figured as such tho from reading the product description and plan on making it stay in place with a hitch cover that will keep it pressed against the hitch receiver with anti vibration pads to minimize noise and metal to metal wear as there’s some wiggle room. The product is solid, heavy and threading is smooth. Cannot wait to make this work for myself.

I ordered it for my vehicle by make and model said it would fit but won’t . I would have to do and most likely will do allot of grinding to make it work.

The fact that it's a simple bracket to mount work lights on is okay enough, but it did fit poorly out of the package. I had to clearance the sides of both the top and bottom halves of the bracket for it to fit properly. Not a big deal unless you don't have the tools. There were also some issues with welding slag on the hitch that the bracket had to be clearanced to fit, but that wasn't something that the bracket manufacturer could have accounted for. If the throat of the bracket could be made 1-2mm wider in width, it could greatly facilitate assembly.

This is plenty sturdy to mount pod lights great for the money. I bought this and unfortunately could not mount it to my vehicle because i dint have enough of my receiver sticking out from the where the tow chains would hook up. I was hoping this would have saved me from having to fabricate and weld bracts to mount my lights. If it was steel i still would have welded it to receiver but it is made of aluminum. I could have still made them work by cutting and relocating the tow cain brackets but by the time i do that it will be easier to just fabricate and weld brackets to my hitch for the lights. Even though this didn’t work out for my application it is still wort trying to see if it fits your vehicle. Also it would have fit my 2’’ receiver perfectly without any wiggle or movement.

Well, finally somebody came up with a great idea for mounting some backup lights on something solid!I am kind of done with my backup lights bouncing around on the underside of my bumper. On my Chevy truck, there is just too much flex. Not to mention, where the 1/2" holes are in the bumper - pre-drilled by Chevy - it mounts the lights pretty much dead centre to the rear tires. Talk about stones, mud, gravel, etc, etc, beating the bejabers out of those lights. This idea is great!The aluminum is not going to rust like every other component on the underside of my Chevy. This mounts beautifully over the rear hitch, and bolts up tight. Then, you can mount what ever you like - so long as it fits! I just went to a package of six LED's (stacked two up) on each side, in a nice, compact light. Waterproof and mounted with stainless steel fasteners, it should outlast the truck!I purchase mine through the Amazon Warehouse Deals, so because there was some damage (are you kidding? Two or three tiny scratches you can't even see!) the price was near 1/2 the regular. I found that to be amazing!No, I have not hooked them up yet. I will need to run some wires, add a relay and a fuse and a cabin switch. While that's not too bad, I will wait for warmer weather before I spend a few hours on my back under the truck.I really like the idea of this product. Well thought out. Looking at the product, it is well made and made with the right kind of material - aluminum. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to add some backup lighting, and to protect those lights from all the road materials the tires through up.Paid for by me. Thank you.
