Battery for old cameras
I got this for the Olympus Pen-FT and it is perfect. It replaces the mercury batteries, which are not legal anymore, allowing you to use the light meter. Fabulous buy. I am very happy

Didn't work!
Was recommended to work for the camera we had and it simply didn't deliver any power to the camera. Sorry but no good!

Excellent idea and value
If you have an older camera or device that uses a 1.35V PX625, this is a great solution, like for my 45 year old Canon EF film camera! The old style PX625 'button cell' was common in the 1970s and 80s and used a mercury electrolyte to provide 1.35v. Mercury is now banned and modern versions of the PX625 give 1.5 volts, which means that things like old cameras that are voltage-critical won't meter properly as the voltage is wrong. Wein do make correct 1.35v version using new technology but at £11 a throw! This adaptor allows you to use a correct 1.35v but physically smaller LR54 / G10 silver oxide cell (still widely available) to fit in the space for the PX625. Works very well indeed. This also comes with 5 x G10 batteries, so it works out at very good value. My EF requires two PX625s (as it powers the electronic shutter as well as the meter), so I needed two adaptors but most devices need just one.
