Must have if using a RO booster pump
I'm glad I installed this on my RO system along with the booster pump. It indicated an overpressure problem- 85 psi is the maximum for the system and the pump over-boosted it to 110. Wouldn't have realized the problem without it. If I had to do it again I would have chosen a gauge with a lower maximum, but this one works.

Great product
Great quality product that shows water pressure. I used it to show the water pressure going into the Reverse Osmosis unit I installed.

Good guage for price, comes with the fittings you'll need to add inline easily.
This works as intended, for a good price, that includes the extra fittings you need to easily put this inline on your water system. I got it to use with my RO water system under my sink, ended up getting two actually. One I put before the filter, and one near my tank. They let me see the pressure and are helpful if you're having trouble or need to make adjustments.Installation is simple. At the basic level, find where you want it to go, snip the 1/4" (john guest) tubing, and add this inline. Assembly is needed of these fittings, but its like 4 pieces. Be sure to use a little plumbers tape where the gauge twists on, to avoid any leaks on that one connection, which is normal. After I got things more setup, I ended up adding a longer fitting tube on the guage so that I could mount them on the inside of my cabinet door and see readings quicker. I also switched the "T" fitting out with a 3/8-3/8-1/4 to use this with a 3/8" line. This works all as intended and well. If I had to ask for an improvement, I'd like to see one with a slightly reduced range of psi. I think these go up to 200psi total, and saw one with a much smaller range. But for the RO system, a range of 0-120 would be fine, without the need for the red at the top end. And generally my range is between 20-40 for the tank, so sometimes it can be hard to distinguish finely what the psi is. Quickly looking you can generally see its +/- 2-3psi of where you need it. Looking further with detail, you can read it within about +/- 1. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice if they offered more variety on these; most are standard at this range in the industry.Another odd thing I wish, that I could get it with the guage flipped 180 degrees. Since its usually attached to a line inside my cabinet that I pull out to read, having it this way would make more sense when I pull it out and need to read, without needing to flip it around. But this is minor.Works well in my RO system, and highly recommend.EDIT:Subtracted one star to make 4/5. After less than 1 year one of the two of these seems to have stopped working. The guage stuck at it's 15 psi reading and never changed, even with more/less water pressure applied. It did this a couple months ago and I removed it, flushed the entry port out a bunch and blew air into it to and it went back to working. This time it wouldn't reset again. I replaced it with another one I bought, but shouldn't have to do this in less than a year.

High quality
First, I want to make clear that I cannot speak to the longevity of this gauge. But I will say I used to sell this sort of item in the old field. And I was blown away at the bill quality upon opening the package. It truly is a glass front, stainless bodied oil filled gauge. It is sturdy and well marked. All of the fittings that are included or of high quality. One of those surprises that doesn’t happen very often. I’ll pop back in and update in a month or so. But I will say buy with confidence on this one. Are used it on the input side of a reverse osmosis system to read the psi of my inlet water pressure by the way.

water seldom reaches >100psi yet gauges are only accurate above 25%
while this kit was pretty ideal it is basically useless for accurate water measurement as intendedgauges are only really accurate at above 25% of their range and the 40-60 is about the 25% marksadly to have a usable range of accuracy the peak maximum pressure of water should be your max gauge readingthat means 100-120psi not 220psithis gauge has a massive inaccuracy below 40psi maybe 60psi and there is no conceivable way to go above 100psi with water from the cityif they supplied a 100psi gauge rather than a 220 this would be a 4.9/5 because of the lack of instructions that tell you to crank down the plastic thread adapter till you nearly snap itbut the adapters supplied are ok just the gauge range is too high to be useful hence the 3/5 global and the 1/5(likely 0/5 if i could) for accuracyjust beware the gauge is useless for numbers at normal water pressure though it can indicate a massive change if you know your original number

Pretty good
Been using it with a RO/DI system for a little while and so far so good. I used a little bit of teflon tape; zero leaks with it.

Super value for high-quality meter
We use several of these in our Reverse Osmosis system so that we know the pressure going in and out of the unit as well as the reserve tanks and icemaker in our home. These little gauges couldn't be simpler to install, and come with all the 1/4 john guest connectors to add it directly inline.Be sure to use teflon tape between the metal and plastic screw connection or you'll definitely experience a leak.
