Does the job superbly
This was recommended to me by someone and it certainly does the job. Even if the vehicle is refusing to turn over or even click, pop this on, and it'll start. And we're starting diesel vans. A product that actually does what it should. Will be interesting to see how it copes with the 24 volt 13 tonne excavator that's not been started in months... Overdue update... 24volt excavator starts with this too with flat batteries. It really is a beast as long as you get a good contact with the croc clips - if it's not doing it give them a wiggle or find a better point

Just randomly stopped working after few months
It is powerful, but you are advised to not leave it on charge, can only assume there isnt any fire prevention in place. The real issue is that after 2 cranks it goes in to an overload setting and you have to wait for a timer to go again.. sometimes 30secs sometimes a minute.. who knows. But as a result you are better off buying another brand. Just not very good in its market space, i have had better onesUPDATE: its just died completely, the seller didnt want to refund unless returned, which i was happy to do but you cant post faulty batterys.. had to fight with Amazon fir a refund

Mustn't crank for longer than 3 seconds
Not in any advance description is the stipulation that cranking must not exceed three seconds. So how many even new diesels fire up that rapidly on a cold day anyway? Remember this claims to start 16 litre diesels. When do you often need a boost pack? when a worn diesel engine is slow to fire up on a cold day and the batteries can't spin it over fast enough. 3 seconds ain't going to hack it.

GOOD WHILE IT LASTED! STEER CLEAR!
As other reviews have stated. It works brilliantly but does not last much after the one year warranty and then your expensive jump pack dies on you! Even if the manufactures guidelines are followed to the letter, you have no comeback with them. Not worth the money. Steer clear. Find one with a good long warranty then you will know that the company are very confident that their product will last!

Waste of Money
Great Whilst It Lasted! Used Approximately 10 Times Before It Stopped Charging 14 Months After Purchase. Tried Alternative Charging Cable To No Avail.Contacted Durite Who Only Offer A Repair Service For Units Under Warranty. As The Warranty Is 12 Months Ours Was Typically Out Of WarrantyDurite Advised They Don't Offer a Spare Parts ServiceComplete Waste of Money

Good while it lasted
Worked well for a year then it wouldn’t charge up. The battery level indicated 40% but it won’t charge any higher.
