Q: Are these trays brittle! Can you flex them without having them crack?

These trays are pretty durable and flexible. Much better than the Jiffy trays I have. I have had no cracking problems.

Q: will theese fit 12 inch smart pots?

I have never heard of 12-inch smart pots. The interior measurement of the trays is only 10 inches wide by 20 inches long, so I doubt that 12-inch smart pots would be the right match. What does fit perfectly in them are "Jiffy-Strip 10" peat pot units that you can buy at Home Depot, which contain 10 peat pots (2 sections wide by 5 sections long) joined together as a unit. There are five of those in a package which perfectly fill the tray so it provides 50 seed starter sections per black plastic tray

Q: Any tall germination domes fit this?

Not that we carry. We use another black tray inverted and placed on the top for a germination dome.
