Had problems with it stopping. Burnt the beans. Was asked to send a video of the problem. Sent it twice, and got no resolution

I'm just starting out roasting coffee as a hobby. This roaster has been great to get started and learn about roasting times and temperature. I've used it three times so far and there's no signs of degradation on the machine. It will hold about 1lb of beans but a few beans may push over the edge if the lid is off.For anyone wanting to try roasting coffee, I think this is a great machine to start out with.

Temperature control failed after only 6 weeks. No way to control roasting.

Since the temperature control is manual this is a great roaster to experiment with. I'm a newbie and have no experience roasting but did a lot of reading and I have to say I like the ability to control the heat manually and the time manually and this becomes almost assistance to experimental roasting as well as production for my home brew stash. I really like it. And for the cost I don't think you can beat it.
