Q: Can you use this to wash your hair?

You can make a shampoo by mixing it with distilled water and extra virgin olive oil. I use about 1/2 cup soap, 1/4 cup water, and a tablespoon of oil. After washing your hair will feel a little oily, but dries nicely. My hair is the most manageable it has ever been.

Q: Has anyone ever tried this on their plants as an insect repellent? Does it work?

Q: My son has acne. What is best for him? Almond? or tea tree? or else

Usually tea tree or lavender. Sometimes the cause of acne determines what works best against it. For me, I'm allergic to parabens (mono, poly, whatever) which is in all sorts of skin stuff and that gives me acne fierce if I contact it. I have a sibling that get acne from a bacterial skin infection. You can get it from medication responses, etc. Basically, underlying cause can make a difference in what works for your skin. I prefer using tea tree and lavender--the combination of both really works great. Hope this helps!
