comfy! right out of the package
I am 5'4", around 125 lbs, ordered s/m (I would prefer they offer S, M, L but oh well). I was skeptical because I have a history with compression hose that goes back 25 years. Family inherited not so good venous system...however, all that being said. These socks felt great the moment I put them on. Do I think they are the whole 20-30 compression? no. But as I am athletic, playing pickleball 4-5 x week for at least two hours if not 5-6 hours each time, the exercise helps with venous flow. for those who are more sedentary, these may not provide enough support. What I like also is that being only 5'4", I do NOT need socks that come up over my knee! I tried the 'charmking' and they were wayy too long. I returned them. These socks come up to that place right above my calf muscle and below the curve of the back of my knee. Perfect. I bought the set of three, white, black, and blue. I am wearing the white. Could update this review when I try on all three but like I said, right out of the box, comfortable, fairly easy to pull on, great fit and they look good! I also, even though I don't think these are true 20-30 compression, feel good support. These might be my new 'go-to' for my athletic compression socks!

Good socks, good compression, great looking, well made!
I don't know if this is fair, but TBH, I always read the 1-star reviews first. I guess I want to know the worst that people think about a product that I'm considering buying. Even though these socks have a lot of reviews, and have a high rating, there were enough 1-star reviews to give me pause.Ultimately, though, my desire for the colors and the economy of these socks won out, and I purchased them. I'm happy to say that I have not had ANY of the issues discussed in the one star ratings, particularly fit and quality. These socks are nice and thick (relatively average sport-sock thickness) and I did not have any problems with them unraveling, not being properly stitched, etc., they fit well (I'm a man with relatively strong/muscled calves so I bought the 3X) and though I'm no expert on compression, they seem to provide about the same amount of compression as the compression hose I was given after my knee replacement surgery. They DO NOT go above the knee, but that's perfect for me and not what I was wanting or expecting anyway. They also stayed up all day, even when moving around, doing physical therapy, etc. It does remain to be seen how long they last, but that's a bridge I'll cross when I come to it. If I remember I'll update this review in the future. My only comment, which is NOT a knock on these socks in particular, but all socks, is that my cat's claws can pull threads out, and velcro tends to "fray" them as well, so some caution should probably be taken with that.

Compression Socks: Size Matters! 😂🧦
These compression socks are like the James Bond of the sock world—sleek, stylish, and with a secret mission to keep your legs feeling great. However, there's just one tiny hiccup in this mission: the size!Folks, when they say "go larger than you think you need," they mean it! I learned this the hard way, thinking I could fit into a size smaller than I should. Let me tell you, it was like trying to squeeze a watermelon into a cocktail glass. My toes were on the verge of launching a sock rebellion, and my calves were questioning their life choices. But fear not, future sock-wearers, for I have the solution: order a size up, or you might end up with a sock-induced game of "Toes in a Can" and calves that feel like they've joined a sausage party. So, in summary, these compression socks are fantastic, but they come with a size warning. Don't be like me; give your toes and calves the space they deserve. Size up, my friends, and you'll be strutting your stuff with the comfort of a sock-wearing champion! 😂🧦🦶

These compression socks work!
These compression socks work!As a nurse I am on my feet for over 10 to 12 hours a day, and most of that is standing and walking. After doing this for over 34 years, the mileage has taken it's toll.I have pretty bad varicose veins in my left lower leg and foot. I tried medical compression socks and they actually hurt. The folds in the material felt like they were cutting in to my legs. So, I tried these type of compression socks and I was amazed. Good compression and comfortable at the same time.I haven't had to have any surgical intervention yet. I believe that I would have had to have an invasive procedure if I hadn't been wearing these socks for years. These socks cannot reverse the damage to my leg and foot, but they have kept the problem from worsening.I wash and dry them with the rest of my delicate clothes and they last a long time.I will keep wearing these. Again, they work.
