Travel Kettle Stainless Steel dual voltage: 120/240V

I've had this mini kettle for two months. I'm happy with it. The stainless body and plastic components feel surprisingly sturdy for the price. It heats up fast. The 'on' button lights up while heating and turns off automatically once the water has reached a boil.Regarding the 'on' button, the only thing I have noticed is this: if you press the 'on' button while it is unplugged, when you plug it in it will automatically start heating. I fill it before plugging it in, so it's not an issue. Other than that, in my opinion, out of the choice of electrical kettles in this size category, this version is the best.My unit shipped from Germany and arrived with a heavy-duty EU-US adaptor already attached to it. No problems using it in the US. It also came with 2 small travel cups, a mini-stir stick, a small container and travel bag. The travel bag is handy but for me the cups are too small; however it was nice that these extras were included.I use this mainly while staying in hotels. Small, compact size makes it easy to take with. Impressed with it for the price.

I recently purchased this little kettle and am so happy with it. It's sturdy, including the lid and plugs, and heats water quickly and rather quietly compared to other kettles I've had. Some have criticized the "on" button, but it works fine for me and shuts off automatically approx five seconds after begins to boil. I usually leave it plugged in and it has not turned on even once without me pushing the "on" button. Best of all, I do not notice any taste at all and it does not splash out unless fill it above the max line (0.5 liter). It's solid stainless and the only plastic which could possibly come it contact with the water is what condenses on the inside of lid while boiling. It's a very nice kettle, small and easy to travel with, and i highly recommend it! :)

This little kettle brings water to a boil really fast. I brought it to take along when traveling in hotels. I like to make tea and oatmeal, and the hotel coffee makers don't actually boil water (also running water through the coffee maker still leaves it tasting like coffee.) It is pretty lightweight and small, but like others have mentioned, the plug adapter for US use is massive. Despite that, it's worth it because it's smaller than most other kettles. I looked at electric kettles in many stores and online, and this was the smallest one I found that wasn't plastic. I love it. The lid is plastic but it doesn't actually touch the water. You can also boil water in it with the lid open, but it will take much longer. When I travel, I pack the plug adapter and the plastic container with my tea directly inside the kettle. Then put the kettle in the travel bag and it keeps the cord from getting tangled and also the spout edge doesn't catch on your clothes or anything. I know it's more expensive than other kettles but I would never trade this for a different one!

This is the most awesome hot water pot! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! It heats to super boiling hot in seconds and BAM I have tea or hot chocolate or coffee or soup ready to go! It's fabulous for a single person or two people. No waste.... Not a waste of time waiting for more water than what is needed to boil! Yippee! Also, perfect compact size and construction and quality is SUPER HIGH QUALITY! Sturdy, heavy duty, but light weight and everything you could want! If I were to change anything it would only be to have the base detachable for submersible cleaning. All thumbs up! I highly recommend this to everyone!

Well constructed, but poorly designed unit. The pros: The kettle boils water quickly, the part that touches the water is made of stainless steel, and the unit seems well made. The cons: The unit is designed so that the user cannot turn it off! The only way to shut off the unit is to either unplug it or wait until the water boils and it shuts off automatically. There is a switch on the handle, but apparently its purpose is only to turn the unit on. The lid cannot be removed, making it difficult to clean. The unit is heavy and the adapter that converts the standard European plug to a grounded U.S. plug is very heavy, which makes the kettle not particularly useful for travel. The kettle got two stars instead of one because it's stainless steel and it appears well made.

A bit heavy but perfect for traveling.If you want tea and coffee in the hotel room and don't want to use the plasticky coffee-maker, this is for you.We took it to a trip and it was perfect. It's not big but heavy (very solidly-built). You do need an adapter to use with 110-125 v. I found a tiny adapter (220v - 110v) so it worked quite well. The box does contain a much larger and heavier adapter if you don't have access to smaller ones.

I brought this to my recent trip to Europe and so glad I did. This travel kettle is well made, lightweight and gives me the hot water I need whenever I need them, both for my tea and coffee. I cannot use hotel supplied carafe, mini coffee maker or even their own mini kettle. Having this travel kettle is so convenient when I need something hot to drink even in the middle of the night or even very early in the morning, sometimes too early for room service. Definitely love this!

Très satisfait par cette bouilloire que je possède depuis quelques années maintenant. Compacte, chauffe rapide, solide. Elle convient pour les voyages, mais aussi la maison sans problème.Le câble d'alimentation est un poil court, mais cela conviendra pour la plupart des usages.Pour le nettoyage un peu de vinaigre blanc de temps à autre fera l'affaire. En revanche pour le rinçage il est dommage que le récipient et l'alimentation soient inséparables. Cela dit, je n'ai rencontré aucun problème jusqu'à présent elle fonctionne comme au premier jour.

Eigentlich wollte ich keinen Wasserkocher in meiner Küche, auch weil ich in einer sehr kleinen Küche dafür keinen Platz hatte.Doch, ich habe solche Mini-Wasserkocher für Tee in einem Hotel gesehen gehabt und wie klein und kompakt die sind und dachte mir, so einer könnte doch vielleicht auch in einer kleinen Küche überall untergebracht werden können?Was für ein Zufall, als ich vor 2 Tagen erneut in dem Hotel übernachtete, sah ich, es ist sogar genau der selbe Wasserkocher, selbe Marke und selbes Modell. Nun, wenn es qualitätsmässig gut für den Hotelbetrieb bzw. eine Hotelkette in dessen Zimmern ist, dann kann das Produkt gar nicht schlecht sein, oder?Nun sitzt das Teil in meiner Küche und ich kann es überall schnell auflegen oder verstauen. Auch, daß es keine getrennte Basis hat sondern es als ganzes benutzbar ist, erwies sich als durchaus hilfreich und bequem. Auch das Wasser kocht schnell auf.Ein ausgezeichnetes Produkt, das einen hochwertigen und guten Eindruck macht.

Sono molto contenta dell'acquisto, è davvero compatto, tazzine zuccheriera e cucchiaini si possono riporre all'interno del bollitore e la comoda borsina completa il tutto. Ottima la possibilità di cambiare il voltaggio per viaggi all'estero. Capienza massima mezzo litro ben indicata all'interno con tacca in rilievo che quindi non sbiadirà. Ottima qualità del contenitore in acciaio e buona sensazione di robustezza al tatto. L'acqua bolle in 3 minuti e 45 secondi circa, il bollitore si spegne da solo. È comunque possibile staccarlo anche prima per mezzo dell'interruttore. Non si può separare dalla base per lavarlo, ma dato che dentro ci va solo acqua basta un panno umido. Discreta la lunghezza del filo e presa tedesca. Comodo avvolgicavo alla base. Se proprio vogliamo cercare il pelo nell'uovo la zuccheriera è molto dura da aprire, e nonostante dentro sia divisa in due vaschette queste comunicano una volta chiusa... quindi non è possibile mettere zucchero in una e caffè solubile nell'altra come si vede nella foto del libretto di istruzioni.... così io ho messo bustine di zucchero e bustine di tè. Istruzioni in molte lingue. Prodotto altamente consigliato

Compré esta kettle porque tengo una cocina con poco espacio de encimera y necesitaba algo para calentar agua rápidamente.Lo que más me gusta es el tamaño tan reducido que tiene (da para dos tazas) y que no tiene la resistencia al aire. El interior es todo de acero inoxidable.Se calienta bastante deprisa y me gusta que no tenga base, así no tienes dos cacharros rodando por la encimera.Considero la opción de llevármela de viaje alguna vez, porque el bolso que trae es perfecto y no ocuparía apenas espacio en la maleta.Lo recomiendo para personas que quieran un hervidor pequeño y robusto, es de buena calidad y parece que durará.
