Love this liquid shadow for my hooded eyelids!

I’m getting to a certain age and my eyelid skin is thinner, looking red and tired more than I’d like.I’m not really a makeup wearer, or haven’t been in many years, but I recently decided to do something about those red eyelids.I also have dry, watery eyes and very oily lids.I tried many different solutions before I tried this “no makeup” eyeshadow and I wish I had tried this first, because it does exactly what I want!This stuff goes on sheer and with a little skin-similar sheen. It utterly masks my redness but doesn’t look like eyeshadow at all!Best of all it doesn’t crease or become obvious later in the day even with my oily eyelids.For my cool-neutral light-medium skin, I find this eyeshadow in Shade #2, a little yellow loose powder under my eyes to gently mask dark circles, some mascara, some Jones Road Miracle Balm, and a sheer hydrating “my lips but better” lip balm (Glossier Ultralip in Villa) do the trick perfectly for “no makeup” days.

This product covers discoloration on the eyelid plus adds a natural color. It applies with a doe foot applicator. It does not take much to provide a smooth looking lid with a bit of color. It seems to make my eyelid skin firmer after using this for about two years.You can leave it as is for a no makeup look or add other eyeshadow over it. I apply a bit of powder eye shadow in my crease since it defines my eyes that way.I am fair skinned and use this Shade 2 as it gives a light “but there” beige look.I use this every time I wear makeup and it lasts close to a year. It blends easily using your finger. It is not shiny but it does not look dry or flat.

Too watery making it to sheer and very little color.

Wanted to find something easy for a primer/shadow. Aging eyes are showing a bit of discoloration and most of the eye primers don't cover it up. Exception is Laura Mercier's product. But was looking for an alternative.Yes, this is easy to use, if you cover with a little powder-could use it as a primer, seems to last all dayNo's, a bit expensive for the amount of product, need to find the right color to work with your eyes or else it is too dark or too light.Overall, I'm meh....

I saw a Youtuber use this and I was intrigued. It's a good base to wear alone or under eye shadow. I usually wear it alone and it does a good job of covering redness or the blue veins. I apply all over my eye lid with my pinkie finger. Lasts until you take it off. Comes off easily with eye makeup remover. No irritation.

I'm a die hard liquid and cream shadow person, it's all I wear. I've tried SO many brands and I just don't get the hype for this product. I'm also firmly in the no-makeup/natural makeup camp and always have been, but when you apply this none of the claims are true.Skin smoothing? Hydrating formula? NOPE. I was not surprised that this was intended to be matte, but it dries down to a chalky, scaly, sahara desert texture that creates more wrinkles and textures than were there before.I'm pretty fair skinned and the color of this left only a hint of a caramel tone, which honestly wouldn't be bad if it didn't look like I put chalk on my eyelids. I'll stick with my tried and true MAC paintpot in Groundwork, I can apply it very sheer to get a wash of color which is what I expected this to be, or I can apply more for a richer color, and the best thing about that product is that while there's no glitter the "matte" finish doesn't look chalky-dry, which in turn doesn't add 10 years to the texture of my eyelids.I gave this a shot, it's not for me, I've wanted to try it for several years and now my curiosity is satisfied.
