Got this strictly for the thumb pieces. My thumbs tend to get cracked in winter and take a long time to heal because it is difficult to protect them while they are healing. This does a great job of protecting them. Minor cons - generally you cannot wear gloves with these -- they are too big.

I was looking for an option to protect my very weak finger nails from daily showering and various gloves didn't keep the water out. These are a better option than the disposable drugstore finger protectors which can only be used a couple of time. I've been using these for a few weeks and they hold up well, they're flesh color and seem like some weird soft android skin. They are very slippery when wet and can be the opposite when dry - they stick to my hair. I got the multi pack because I have women's large hands, but would only get the small next time, because the large ones are super big and would only fit a very large man's hand, so a waste for me. My nails are stabilizing finally!

I ordered this set specifically to have more thumb pieces. I had ordered a set from another seller the week before and LOVED them for the purpose of protecting cracked skin on one thumb. They were so helpful, that I gave away two of the four thumb pieces to a friend who had the same issue. I bought this set because it had twice as many thumb pieces as the other set. The SAME DIMENSIONS are listed for the thumb in this set as the other. The thumbs in this set are NOT the size posted. They are visibly and measurably bigger... too big for my husband who has very large hands. The other finger pieces are on the slim side, so the contrast in sizing is extreme.

Between gardening all summer and shoveling snow all winter my fingertips are always dry and cracked. These are great. Much better than Band-Aids. They are waterproof and don't slip off. Plus they add a little bit of padding to my sore fingertips. My only complaint is that I wish I had found out about them sooner.

I use finger protection on the job to hold tools to work in a dental lab. They cushion great, but since they are a gel cushioning, the tool i am using doesnt get a firm grip and moves with the tool making it hard to control the intricate work i am doing.

I have animal bites on my fingertips. I had a cat with cancer for ten months I gave medicine then my dog became ill. For another month I had to administer twice a day a pill I had to force him to take. Both had sharp teeth. My fingers became raw and could not get them to heal just because of normal activity they would split open. The doctor told me to wear gloves but was horrible to wear constantly. These worked great on my medium-size hands which I now see real healing. They seem to stretch to fit my thumbs but fit my longer forefingers.The cat did die of cancer but the dog recovered with early detection of ticks disease when I reached him.
