They are about an inch and a quarter at the base and then they are in the shape of a diamond. I love them. They are plastic but who cares? They look very nice and work very well. If you are looking for something super special for a wedding, then, I guess they are not super special, but they are perfectly lovely in my opinion and you cannot beat the price. After all this is simply a card holder.

Q: These look very bridal - would they be appropriate for an adult birthday party - or should I consider a different type of name holder?

It does look “bridal” but I would see it match a theme birthday party where gold is featured. If your party is “bling bling”, I would be perfect. Even when is not, this gives a nice touch to the table. I would not combine it with a rustic style, I tried and ended up using regular golden metal holders.

Q: What occassion can it use for?

They can be used for your home, office, wedding, party, drink and beverage bars to remind and decorate anything.

Q: Would I be able to put anything thicker than a paper? Looking to hold a small piece of acrylic.

I have no idea how thick the acrylic would be. I used an index card which I cut into the proper size and there was extra room there. Some thing a little thicker than an index card would work.

“Rose gold” is actually orange when you receive it.

Bought 2 packages of rose gold little gems for my wedding... When I received them, they were ORANGE! Not rose gold at all! So disappointed... also they are smaller than they appear in the pictures. Don’t recommend buying these in “rose gold” anyways...

this Item is listed as rose gold. It is clearly peach not rose gold.

this was to be a part of place settings for a 90th birthday, but it is not the quality very plastic so light it will not hold up the place cards . Looks nice but it is not advertised correctly

NOT ROSE GOLD!!!!!!!

These are NOT rose gold they are a peach or coral color. Do not get them if you are looking for rose gold. And backing them with any color does not make them rose gold. But they are made nice and sturdy. Good design and hold cards good. Just bad color description. It looked terrible with all my rose gold banquet decor. The only thing that did not match at all!!!!!
