Hard Hat Sunshield - Upgrade Full Brim Neck Sunshade Cover with Reflective Strip for Hardhats

I had a bike helmet cover that had a nice front brim, but it's really best for winter riding - that helmet has very few ventilation holes, and was way too hot to wear in summer heat. I have a summer weight ventilated helmet, but that cover didn't fit, so I come to teh interwebs to find a solution. Apparently they make a bike-specific style of this hard hat cover called Da Brim, but it's $50 for one! Heck with that! I bought the three pack of black brims, put one on my summer helmet, and stood in direct sun in surprising comfort! The neck drape kept my poor Irish-descent skin cool and shaded, and I had coverage on all sides with the wide brim. Most impressively, the brim hugs the helmet in front and back with little pockets, and there are velcro straps on the sides to make sure the cover stays anchored in high winds or at 20mph.I put the other two covers on my kids helmets, though since they were smaller I needed to add a bit of Gorilla Tape to make sure they would stay on. We look forward to many shaded, comfortable rides!

I use it everyday for work! It keeps the sun of my neck and upper part of my face. Fits very well on my hard hat too.

If you work in open space, this might be perfect.However, I get up on power poles which makes this a little less ideal. It does it's job, protects the head from the sunlight, but the REALLY wide brim constantly bumps against the pole. I really wish I could trim this back and would cut it myself, but the problem is that the stitching is so tight that if I cut it, the whole thing would fall apart.I use it when doing ground work only now, as while on a pole it does me no good to keep on bumping into things. So, sadly it didn't achieve the purpose I had gone for it but isn't overly bad.

This works very well both on the generic Bell hard hat and the new Klein hard hat. It's lightweight, easy to store and easy to put on. I do look like a dork when wearing it, but this isn't a fashion show contest. I wish the front fabric that holds onto the hard hat was concave so it didn't touch my forehead. Overall, I can't imagine not having this out in the field. I work long hours in the Florida sun.

This is exactly what I wanted. Fits my standard hard hat perfect. I thought that you may need a full brim hard hat for it to work better but you don't. This thing is of really good quality and very easy to fold up and store. Provides a lot of sun protection. I am very happy with this product. I give it 10 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Works as expected but I look like a dork. Oh well, it's bloody hot out there in AZ. I choose life over looks.
