This is an amazing DAB Radio for the price. The build quality and reception is excellent.I did have another DAB radio of the same size but from another brand and this Le.Mega is far superior in many ways:1: Two extra elements on the antenna to pull in those weaker stations.2: You can put in your own rechargeable or non rechargeable alkaline batteries. Knowing if they fail, you can simply replace them, rather than having a dead built-in rechargeable battery that can no longer charge due to charging cycles.3: Easy to operate buttons with a nice white text on blue lit background.4: Headphone socket for you to listen in private and yes, even though this is only a single speaker radio, listening on headphones and if the station is transmitting in stereo, you actually can listen in stereo.The main plus for this Le.Mega DAB radio is the volume control. The volume has subtle tiny increments, so that if you turn up/down the radio, it increases/decreases at tiny increments, compared to other DAB radios of the same size, whereby you turn up the DAB radio one click and the whole neighbourhood can hear it, due its massive stepped increments.So, bedtime with Classic FM, sleep set to 15 minutes with a low volume is my perfect way to go to sleep.Reception is very good where I live but I will give it a proper test when I take it to work. As my workplace is inside a steel structured garage in a low reception area and whilst other DAB Radio's have failed, I am in a positive mind that this will still receive a good reception and by the time Amazon have approved of this review, I would have been to work and I will update this review accordingly.Update 29/08: Took the DAB radio to work and placed it in the area where other DAB radio's have failed to receive a reception and it worked flawlessly both in FM and DAB. So, I definately recommend this gem :-)

I needed a small compact radio with an alarm clock for the bedroom and this fits the bill perfectly. It looks good and picks all the DAB stations that I listen too and has a reasonable sound quality. My two negative things are:1. If using just on AAA batteries their life span is short2. To switch the radio off you have to hold the power button for a few seconds otherwise you change the radio from DAB to FM and vice versa. It would be more sensible if you had to hold the button for a few seconds to change between DAB and FM and could quickly press it to switch the radio off.Overall satisfied with my purchase.

Fantastic little radio in Walnut and cream décor. Very easy to setup straight from the box. Upon setup the radio scans for stations. That's as complicated as it gets. The instructions that come with it explains everything simply. Users 4 AAA batteries or mains (adapter included) The sound quality is very good.

This has a trendy retro look. It is small and neat, but has a big sound. The presets are useful and easy to operate. Best plugged into the mains as the batteries do not last long - OK for an afternoon outdoors though, and the batteries are not expensive at a pound shop.

Having previously used a different manufacturers product for 5 years (until it died) this one I had high hopes for. But sadly, after 1 week the lead charger stopped working and so the battery ran flat. I had to resort to just putting in batteries, but these run out of charge quickly. I did think about returning it but couldn't be bothered as the price is so low. However, DO NOT buy this product. The iBox portable radio is a bit cheaper and this was the one that lasted 5 years or more last time (which I have now ordered again). Shame, it looked nice but something's bad in its design. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Good little radio that you can keep in the kitchen. Instructions are very very confusing however with a bit of help you can get it started. Goes well with kitchen

This is brilliant bought for mum she loves it very happy and works via mains or battery which last along time sound is very good too picks up a lot of channels too great !
