Van Holten's Pickles - Jumbo Sour Pickle-In-A-Pouch - 12 Pack

Incredibly delicious! These have a good spice to them, not to hot but a good level. They are not very crunchy which is unfortunate but not a deal breaker. The package was sealed fine, no leaks or damage.

Didn’t get these because of TikTok , I got them because I’ve been a fan of war heads since I was little. The fact that I’m also a pickle lover I must say these are by far the best sour pickles you can find . The smell ,the color , the size and the freshness is just satisfying. If you’re not into sour things . I wouldn’t recommend but by any means, I recommend these cold .

Taste good!! Very spicy. Sucks the post office busted my package I got 5 out of the 6 I ordered.

My husband loves spicy food and buys extracts etc., online to make sauces spicy enough for his taste. If you're that into spicy, the initial burn isn't that much, but it most definitely builds. My husband's favorite thing about this particular brand of spicy pickle is that it is still flavorful, not just hot.SPICY GAUGE:I have a low spicy tolerance (jalapenos are okay, but only a few) and one bite of this was too much for me. My husband buys ghost chili and habanero concentrate to make his own hot sauce and thinks they are GREAT, with just the right amount of burn. We shared one with a friend who likes spicy food but has a tolerance somewhere between myself and my husband, leaning toward my husband's regular spicy food use. He thought they were VERY spicy but loved them. He also made the same comment on how they are still flavorful considering how spicy they are.SIZE:I would consider these a larger snack size. They aren't the jumbo pickles you get from convenience stores, but they are definitely more than a couple bites. Approximate dimension: ~4 inches long x 1.25-1.5 inches in diameter.OTHER USES:Since truly spicy pickles are hard to find, we don't just use these as portable snacks, but also cut them up and put them on sandwiches, or dice them and put them in other dishes like tuna salad.OVERALLI would recommend these. This is my second order and I will likely continue to purchase as long as they are offered. These are NOT for the occasional "slightly spicy" person.

Great quality and taste. In order to prevent eating sand, I recommend washing prior to consuming.

The media could not be loaded. The pickles were terrible, I received my box Drenched in pickle juice! Do not buy unless you are okay with cleaning up opened packages of pickles, since these were not eligible for a return I was stuck with 6 pickles drenched in juice, after I cleaned them I decided to give it a try and the pickle skin was so tough to bite in and not worth the buy at all.

I travel a lot for work and one of the hotel chains I stay at rewards my elevated membership with free snacks as a perk of staying with them. I was looking for something that wasn't full of carbs and sugar and decided to give this pickle a try. I went back every single day I was staying there and got another one. They are simply incredible. I don't know how I've lived my life this long without ever having eaten one of these. Believe me. I'm not exaggerating. I had to beg TSA to let me bring one home for my family (they come in individual, pickle-juice filled pouches that might exceed the carry-on liquid allowance). My family was also blown-away by this pickle. Needless to say, I went all-in and ordered a variety of theirs. I will say the atomic-blast-level sour pickle is really "All that." I can only eat one of those once-in-a-while, because it's so intense. The kosher pickle seems to be smaller, but they're my favorite. If you love pickles like I do, go ahead and treat yourself. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered a case of sour pickles, as they've recently beat out tapatio as my favorite Van Holten's flavor. These pickles in a pouch are my favorite pickle. I've quite literally eaten hundreds of them, and that's not exaggeration. I've just about eaten one of their pickles a day for the last 6 or so years. I usually buy tapatio cases and have bought dill on occasion, but usually pick them up locally.I'm 98% certain these pickles are their kosher dills packaged in sour packaging. If not, they went rancid somewhere along the process. 10/12 of these pickles were not the sour pickle I wanted. Just to be sure, I bought a case from my local gas station to compare. Definitely not tasting as they're supposed to.What really upsets me is the customer service. I reached out to Van Holtens' customer service and have heard nothing back. I figured this is a matter that should be investigated. It definitely hurt that less than 1/4 of my pickles were edible (which is dramatic, obviously they were edible I just hate kosher dill pickles which is why I don't eat grocery store pickles).
