I recently purchased the Safely Smart Lock Wi-Fi Gateway to complement my existing Safely Smart Lock, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance. This device has truly elevated the functionality and convenience of my smart lock system.I had the Wi-Fi Gateway up and running in a matter of minutes, thanks to the clear and easy-to-follow instructions. It seamlessly integrated with my Safely Smart Lock, and I was able to control and monitor it remotely from my smartphone.The remote access is a plus. I can now lock or unlock my door from anywhere, whether I'm at work, traveling, or even just relaxing on the couch. This level of control and security provides immense peace of mind.The Safely app is user-friendly and offers a variety of features. I appreciate the activity logs, which allow me to track who comes and goes from my home, providing an extra layer of security. Additionally, the app sends instant notifications whenever the lock is used, giving me real-time updates on the status of my front door.Furthermore, the build quality and design of the Wi-Fi Gateway are excellent. I am currently using this to unlock remotely for repairs and updates to be done for my townhouse without me being present!

This device is not necessary for the lock to work, the lock can still be opened without it, but you would have to retrieve access codes and other information while being near the Sifely lock. I do recommend it, though, because it's much more convenient to be able to use the features without having to be physically close.However, there is something very important about this device: the gateway connects only to 2.4 GHz networks. So, please make sure to check that you have a 2.4 GHz network before purchasing.

I just got this going after about a week of trying to set it up. The problem isn’t the lock really but the complete lack of useable instructions. There are a lot of words but practically no useful illustrations for basic functionality. A lot of the setup involved me guessing and trying until it worked. Unfortunately fir me, the second physical key was lost during this long process so now I only have one. Speaking of physical key, it’s simple to used UNLESS you don’t know how to remove the cover. I don’t know how long I spent just figuring that out.To be fair, maybe it would have been quicker if I could dedicate a very long chunk of time setting it up but my schedule is such that it was all broken up over a long period.The fingerprint reader doesn’t recognize my finger most of the time but I used 3 different readings so the now it has to recognize one of them.Again, this all makes perfect sense once you figure it out. Sifely was fast to reach out and help and they said they are working on better instructions. I told them they should fire whoever made the video instructions because they flay by so fast you have to pause it constantly to keep up.I’m not going to go on about that but I do want to mention my one disappoint so far about actual functionality, apparently this does not work with Apple HomeKit. I was really looking forward to being able to tell Siri to unlock my door while visiting bumfriggin, Egypt but I guess that is not in the cards. I’m sure that’s just a matter of some simple code that would open the customer base significantly.Otherwise, it’s very good. Some kind soul should go to the trouble of making clear, step by step installation and operation instructions and post them here. And then Sifely should generously compensate them.

My gateways works extremely well! For best results, ensure the gateway is on the same floor or near the keyless door locks for best connection. I have 7 keyless door locks: however, the recommended maximum to connect is between 2-5 devices. Therefore, I needed two gateways to ensure all devices connected. Their customer service was easy to work with. I am pleased with this product.
