Oh my, the pungent heat that you get with real wasabi is short-lived to bring out the flavor of food. And yet, its sharp, fiery heat blossoms in the mouth producing a sudden feeling of excitement and pleasure through the nose. I use a quantity to get misty eyes. Squeezing a long line on an Egg Roll makes it delicious.

We had a fun sushi-making party, and the wasabi was used by everyone. So glad it arrived from Amazon on time. See if you can find it.

This has some real heat to it! Unless you are a wasabi connoisseur or love really hot foods, be careful! Not knowing what I was doing on my first try, I put a large glob of this on a spoon and went for it. For a brief second I thought, “this isn’t so bad” and then I took a breath. The heat rushed to my nasal passages and brain and I thought, “and this is how I die”. After briefly blacking out, my soul returned to my body and everything was back to normal. It was quite the rush. So, if you are a thrill seeker, this product is for you.But truthfully, when used sparingly, this is a great wasabi which adds a nice heat to your food.

This is the hottest wasabi I have ever had. Honestly I would prefer if it was just normal hot. Proceed with caution! Genuine made in Japan.

Really great wasabi. Has that great sinus clearing effect when you use a lot. Good flavor and nice kick. Larger tubes are handy, a better value, and and seem to keep fine in the fridge.
