Q: What color is the fountain?

As in the picture, this fountain is dark grey concrete color. It's a great fountain! But, the directions say it shouldn't be operated when summer temps are above 90.

Q: Could I paint the outside of it? Maybe using a sponge?

Yes, I painted the one in my yard to match the backyard color.
