Very Powerful
This Saw is a beast. Many improvements from the older model it replaced.It had a dial speed controller and a trigger speed controller. That makes it easy to use over just a trigger controller.

Worth it
First things first— YES. It’s heavy. But, when you are making cuts … and especially starting a plunge cut … you will not feel the weight of the saw. This is because its inertia helps keep the vibration down and makes it feel less “jumpy.” So if you’re just holding the saw at arm’s length, it’s HEAVY. But if you are making cuts at arms length it’s SMOOTH (and fast).The rafter hook is nice b/c it works in two positions – 90° and 180° wrt the plane of the blade.Instead of a double trigger, like on my miter saw, there is a “lock/unlock” switch. NICE.Tool free adjustments.Orbital. 👍LEDI’m an old Makita guy, but nobody else makes a saw like this’n!

not light weight at all.
This tool was so heavy to use under a car to cut muffler pipes and install new muffler system, I have to break at least 5-8 times to rest my arms to finish the job. great tool (Milwaukee) but wow !

An absolute unit to add to your arsenal
The build quality is simply the best out there utilizing high quality plastic and rubber for the body. Rubber being the grip area which is really effective. The motor and the components look and feel amazing. The power comes on in an instant and doesn’t even bog with a healthy sized battery ( I recommend the 8.0 AH HO ). All at a fair and reasonable price. This Sawzall is the best on the market and is easy to use despite being on the heavy side. The heft comes in handy all of the time. Absolute must. Zero complaints. All the compliments.
