Rubbermaid FG321800CLR Measuring Cup 4 Qt Clear

I paid $45.00 Canadian, plus tax for a jug that I never got to use once because when I filled it with water to test it, it leaked all over my kitchen counter right away. I've come online to try and return it or exchange it for a new one, only to receive a message saying that it can't be returned. I haven't even had the jug a full week yet. WHAT AN EXPENSIVE PIECE OF PLASTIC GARBAGE!!!! I'd really appreciate it if the seller would stand behind their product and either refund me my money, or replace it with a jug of the same volume in measurement that doesn't leak.

I just received this today. I wanted a pitcher this big for so many uses. But on the bottom of it is a sticker that says it is made from something that is a health hazard. Why would Rubbermaid make something that is used in a commercial kitchen be a health hazard? Anyone out there can help me?

Excellent size and form. However, it cracked before it was one year old. Listed as shatter and break resistant but that does not seem to be the case. Shame because it was the perfect size.
