This isn't quite the old school barbershop scent but it is close enough and smells manly, sensible, and nostalgic enough to fit the bill. Add to that the ability to soothe and comfort skin after a shave and it seems we have a winner. No sting. No awkward fake smell. I typically have dry skin in the cooler/colder months and this has helped tremendously. Am I saying this has cured my dry skin? No. I take extremely hot showers and refuse to change. This stuff, makes up for that fact and I am quite pleased.

After having lost a good amount of weight, I have chicken neck. Using my T-bar trimmer left my neck with razor burn. Immediately after trimming my neck, I put water on my neck, then I put 2 squirts on my hand and rubbed it on my neck. It cooled and soothed my neck. It has a pleasant scent and is not too strong. I have no idea as to what your shaving issue is but, I won't ever be without it.

The first time i put this on after a shave i went a little heavy and the scent was pretty overpowering for nearly the whole day at work. Coworkers noticed in a bad way. I was totally embarrassed and tried to wash it off during lunch.

It's a little pricey for the volume, but it works nicely. I like it about as well as Proraso post-shave.

I have lived off of Nivea and Baxter shave balm/gels for years. This is the first one that has come along and made me consider changing. It is very creamy in texture and almost feels like sunblock (liquidy sunblock) but it goes on well and rubs in well. My face feels very nice after applying. No cooling sensation like the baxter but it does help with razor burn very well. The scent is very old school as well which is very nice. My only compliant is if you accidently use too much, it starts to clump a little so you have to make sure you rub it in extra. A little goes a long way with this balm. I will definitely be adding this to my normal rotation.

I have 4 favs that I use for aftershave (with sensitive skin). This is at the top of the list. It gets rid of that irritated post shave/post shower feeling. I’d call it a quiet barbershop-esque scent that doesn’t enter the room before you do. Wife likes the smell too.

One of the reasons I bought this is because I read a review that says this stuff smells good. In fact, this stuff smells bad, kind of like fresh paint only milder. I the garage it went!!!
