This super capacitor bank is great! Now it's not enough for both of my amps paired with my high output alternator by themselves but works flawlessly for one 8k amp. I had to add my lithium batteries to help support both amps when high amperage is needed for a long period of time. I'm using the lithium batteries as more for power reserve then anything. If you're running a 3-5k amp then one of these super cap banks would be perfect in my opinion. As I said with one 8k amp my voltage never dropped below 13.2 volts at a 2 ohm load putting out over 5000 watts and pulling close to 400 amps of current. For now my alternator is putting out 14.4 volts. I did have to charge the capacitors before I installed them but charging was super easy and took sevreal hours. I hope this is informative for my fellow bassheads.

great addition to my stereo system. the super caps do all the work under pressure. the li batter in parallel recharges the super- cap in seconds. never a demand on he main battery or alternator. Highly recommendedbut a little pricy, especially with the lithium battery.

should be enclosed in a plastic hard case or something for better safety, but so far it is working well for me!
