Not good enough
Pros:-very detailed software. Take a hearing test and the device automatically adjusts to your type of hearing loss.-comes with two batteries and a portable battery charger. Very convenient.- buttons on device to change background settings and volume.-not tiny and easy to lose like original hearing aids-bluetooth connection to phoneCons:-Cheap hardware-bluetooth connection to phone makes device sound cut in and out when using the phone. Goodluck typing in a number. Very inconvenient and unnecessary. Behaves as ear plugs at that point-sound quality is very poor. You will not be able to listen to music or watch TV either through bluetooth or through environment. Does not have music setting on device like hearing aids to pick up the different sound frequency.-ear pieces are too thick. Did not stay in my ears too well because mine are very small. Their smallest didn't fit. Only 3 sizes.-biggest con: the screen on device for ear piece is cheap. I tried to clean one and it caved right away. They are not replaceable like hearing aids. Even if it didn't cave there is no way to clean them. Very poor design. The ear wax will probably ruin device in a year.I want a bose and Jabee hybrid. I will pay $1000 for a device that is efficient and isn't easy to loseAdditional Notes-people do think they are headphones and you'll have to constantly tell people they are hearing devices if you work in an industry where you are constantly meeting new people.-when wearing all day one battery last me 6 hours. Not a problem since there is a portable battery charger you can keep in your pocket and a second battery.

I can hear!
My hearing has been getting worse for years and I was getting unable to hear speech on TV and in meetings at work and other places. I have to wear ear plugs at work so hearing aids would be a hassle for me. I did some research and found this on You Tube and I liked the demo of it. So I went to Amazon and to my surprise they offered them. When I first got them I did the hearing test and the sound was very trebly so I went into the Band setting and raised the low frequency levels up and lowered the high frequency and for the first time in many years I could understand what was being said on TV at a normal volume for my wife. The sound is great and realistic and clear!! I have heard sounds that I have not heard in years. Jabees I want to say thank you for making these and Amazon thank you offering them! If you are on the fence for these don't be. These are better than others on the market for its features like extra batteries, operating on its own without your phone, being able to adjust individual band frequency. Sound levels for right and left ear to name a few. They have helped me so I purchased another one for a backup if needed.March 22,2020 - updateI have been using my Jabees for about 3 months now and they are fantastic. The bluetooth range is about 50 ft music is clear. I have found the battery last on average about 5 hours for hearing and 4 if connected to your phone. The extra battery is great so it is a quick change and you are back in business. I wish Jabees would have an option on there website to purchase extra ear bud inserts because you will loose one in time but there is extra with the hearing device. This has been a great device for me and for the price it is worth it!!

Five hour battery life is a downer, but relatively quick recharge time is an offset.
I really like the smart phone enabled hearing test/setup that's easy to do over if needed; price is reasonable. Good sound quality. Ear pieces are good, but difficult to lock into place--they often come loose--could use an over-the-ear loop. Additional battery availability for the Jabees is a big plus--Bose Hearphones don't allow for that---from what I gather, you throw away your $500 purchase when the batteries stop working.

It died after a month and a half
it worked great when it was working...Tried to contact company several times...I received one email that told me to factory reset it...hard to do when it will not power up...I was just trying to get it fixed....But if they won't respond to my emails ...I guess I'll have to return it for a refund

Nice Try, But, Unfortunately, I'm Needing to Return It
I had high hopes for this hearing aid. The construction is good, and it's obvious that the designers and manufacturer tried to make a quality product. Unfortunately, it simply doesn't do the job that I need it to and that I had expected it to.First, while I appreciated the thought that went into the device it self, there are some basic shortcomings. For one, the magnetic closure at the bottom of the unit (where the two parts that come around the neck meet) frequently caught on and pulled hairs on my chest.Next, the ear tips, being designed with no venting, means that my ears and hearing feel occluded. With the volume turned up and adjusted so I could hear people that I was attempting to have a conversation with, my own voice sounded unusually loud and overbearing; I could hear myself much better than others. If I turned the volume down so that my own voice wasn't like shouting in my ears, I couldn't hear others. And, I didn't feel that the hearing test in the application properly adjusted the device for my hearing. Sounds like running water, turning a door handle, a chair noise and paper rustling would be very loud and noticeable, while voices of other people would be muffled and unclear. This after doing the sound test multiple times and even trying to manually adjust the level sliders afterwards. I've worn hearing aids for years before I purchased this device, so I understand about the need to get used to the difference in artificial vs natural hearing, but this was beyond that.I really wanted to like this device. I feel bad returning it (especially with the picture of the people involved with the device design that came in the box, sorry folks :( ), but it simply didn't work well for me.
