Practically Perfect
This is a great little watch. It’s legible, light on the wrist, and understated in design. It features everything I look for in a digital watch: water resistance to at least 100M, three customizable alarms that are loud enough to be practical, countdown timer, dual time zones, stopwatch, 12 and 24-hour modes, Indiglo, and non-proprietary lugs. It is 33mm in diameter and has a thin profile; both things I see as a plusses. As a pro tip -- this watch pairs well with the Barton Watch Bands Elite Silicone strap designed for the 16mm lug width common to the much lauded, but less functional, Casio G-Shock family of watches.

Good Sport Watch
This is a good sport watch. I wear these to work in all sorts of conditions...and they take a beating. I have to get the unisex watches/bands as I have thick wrists for a woman and women's watchbands generally don't fit me. I can't wear the metal watch bands because when I flex my wrist they break. I can't wear the leather bands because when I sweat the band just deteriorates and falls apart. These woven bands are just perfect. I also like that it is velcro. That way you can adjust it perfectly to your wrist. I have worn these watches for nearly 15 years. It has two time functions - so that you can have regular time and maybe the time in another country. It has a split lap stop watch so that you can time each lap as well as your full run. Time, date, alarm, and hour beep if you so desire. It also has a back light which is really handy to tell time in the dark. Only problem with that is at about the year mark, the battery is so low that the light will come on, but the numbers disappear. But, well, it is what it is.Some reviewers have complained that the band is rather small fitting around the wrist. I am a woman and I bought a womans Timex once. The band was EXTREMELY small and barely fit me at all. It would come off a lot of the time because there was barely any velcro to wrap around. This watch is probably more of a unisex watch. Not a woman's per se, but not a big man's watch either. It is about in the middle. I have a 7.5" wrist and that is about as large of a wrist that this watch will fit. The women's watch that I had previously had would only fit a 7" wrist.

Small but good watch
Nice and small but small time, good backlight but for me a little difficult to read and see. Got to roll to see it. Getting old or watch could be better.

Great no frills watch, love it.
This watch is a really nice and is perfect for me. It tells the time (duh!), the date and has a stopwatch feature I never use. Mostly I like that it is a no frills product, but it does its job. This is great for people that actually want something that tells the time and not some fancy gold bracelet to impress the ladies. Although I spend most of my time in front of a computer, I imagine this piece would be great for someone with an active lifestyle (biking, running, etc.). The watch itself is mostly plastic and watch-proof and the band is a fabric velcro. For a while I had the older model with a rubber strap and I like this new model much better. The strap is comfortable and easy to take on and off. I wish the strap was a little bigger though, it might be too small for someone with really fat arms. It does have an indiglo feature although I had the older model and the indiglo died after like 6 months. Hopefully this one will last. What can I say, its a watch. If you are looking for something simple with a classic design, look no further.

Great watch!!
I wear this watch everyday, never remove it. You can bathe with it, has great features that cover my needs like, 24 hr time, alarms, color goes with every outfit, scratch resistant, last forever, and have never had a problem one.

Good basic digital watch for women
Okay, so it's a great watch for women with small to medium wrists. Here's my pros and cons list:Pros:- Super easy to set. The package insert does NOT include instructions. This is my first Timex Expedition watch, so I had no experience going in. All you do is press Set and you use the Start and Stop buttons to move up and down, respectively, through the settings. Easy enough!- I love the simplicity of the watch. It's simple and easy to read.- It has the day of the week AND the month AND the date. I wanted to make sure any watch I get has these features.- The watch band seems high quality. It is fabric/nylon, so it should hold up for several years (we'll see I guess).- The Indiglo is pretty and works great in the dark!Cons:- I have to tighten the band as tight as possible in order to prevent the watch from wobbling around my wrist. It may be because my wrist is small and the watch itself is a bit heavy in comparison. I AM new to wearing a watch, so maybe it's just something I have to get used to.- The display is perfect, but only when looking at it straight on (when facing you directly). If you were to glance over at your watch while you're typing on your computer, you can't see the time. It's too blurry. So the viewing angles are terrible. You can only see the time if you look directly at it. Again, this might be an issue with all digital watches, but I sort of expected more in today's technological world. This is probably my biggest con and biggest disappointment.- The band holder is also nylon, so I had some trouble getting the extra band into the band holder. Now that I think more about it, I'm not sure what a better alternative would be for a nylon band... maybe if they glued the band holder on to the band, it wouldn't move around so much when trying to insert the band into the holder. Once you're inserted it, it seems to stay in place, though. So that's good. But I can see it loosening up and not working well in the future.I've only had this watch since yesterday, so I haven't been able to test its waterproofness yet. I will update this review if I am unhappy with the waterproofness.Overall, it's exactly what I was looking for: a basic digital watch that shows the day and date, with a band that is small enough to fit my female wrist. However, I would have liked it better if the price was $10-15 less than what I paid for it.UPDATE: I've since moved on to a few other watches since this one. I have concluded that I do NOT like having a cloth/nylon watch band, and I prefer the rubber/plastic bands now. The nylon band takes way too long to dry after a shower, whereas the plastic bands don't need ANY drying time. There are a lot of good plastic banded watches out there, and I've tried a few no-name brands on Amazon and have been happier with them than I was with this Timex. They are also not as heavy and floppy on my wrist.
