I LIKE THE GRILLER BUT THE WAY IT LOCKS TOGETHER IS KIND OF DUMB YOU NEED TO SLIDE A METTAL CLASP OVER THE ONE SIDE THAT OPENS THIS IS FINE WHEN YOU ADD THE HOTDOGS OR FISH BUT LETS SAY YOU WANT TO LET THEM OUT AND ADD MORE THAT HOT CLASP ISNT TOO EASY TO MOVE WITH OVEN MIT ON AND DOING IT WITH BARE HANDS YEAH I DONT THINK SO YOU HAVE TO WAIT A BIT BUT THE MORE ITEMS THAT NEED COOKING THAT NEED THAT GRILLER THAT YOU HAVE WASTES YOUR CHARCOIL CANT JUST WASTE IT WITH THE COST OF EVERYTHING GOING UP ITS NOT LONG YOU NEED TO WAIT BUT SHOULD BE ABLE TO UNLOCK IT DUMP IT OUT AND KEEP GRILLING OTHER THAN THAT ITS OK TIME WILL TELL WITH DURABILITY BUT NOW ITS OK

This has become a regular use item in our household. Almost every time we light the grill we use this "basket". It works so well when grilling mushrooms and other veggies, we no longer worry about items falling through the grill rack since they are contained within this handy basket. We have not used it for fish or other seafood yet, but I highly recommend it for grilling veggies.The basket fits in the dishwasher and washes well. The handy storage bag that came with it, as well as the BBQ brush, are nice additions.

Product good only for light loading with food for grilling. Very limited capacity. Difficult to clean. Not worth purchasing. Would have returned it but not worth the effort of cleaning better after grilling for me to send it back in the mail. What a shame? Was looking forward to it. Only used it once. The locking mechanism comes off easily if a heavy piece of meat is placed in it and is being turned over. It can snap open and food fall from it. The wood handle easily separates from the metal side rails by twisting out of place with handling. If you plan to put a piece of thick heavy steak of a chicken, this is not the right utensil for you. At least I got an after the fact expensive basting brush out of the purchase. I won’t be using the actual grill basket any longer. Will look for a better item.
