GullorAdvanced Executive Fountain Pen Jinhao 750 Black Bright with Silver

Item came expediently with Prime, exactly as pictured. I took the advice of many others who bought Jinhao pens, and soaked the nib, feed, and converter in some warm soapy water before I took to filling it. This, I am told, removes the oils left from the manufacturing process, and improves the flow of ink through the pen's components. After soaking and rinsing and drying, I filled the pen with Parker's Super Quink Black. Initially, there was some skippage and scratchiness, but as I continued to write, the pen broke in, and now it's laying down a beautiful broad line that's probably in the realm of 1.1-1.3 mm. Yes, it is very broad, make no mistake. The pen itself is weighty, being made of metal (not sure what type. Perhaps brass?), but I'm still able to write for fairly good durations of time (~15-30 mins at a time) without tiring or getting any cramps. Overall, a fantastic pen that both looks and performs like one 10x its price. I think, for an intuitive person that would be able to manipulate the tines if need be, this pen is a great everyday beater, bound to receive compliments based on both aesthetic and functionality. Perhaps more of a desk pen, but I'm sure one could carry it around daily, if one wanted to.

I love the feel of this pen in my hand. Solid weight, nice fluid feel when i sign my name and the cap snaps in tight.

Very nice for the price. Should have gotten a find nib as the medium is a bit thick for my writing style but that is a personal preference.
