I adjusted the width so that it would fit the area where i wanted it installed. Worked perfectly. It's sturdy and the magnets and adhesives are very strong.The install instructions are very simple.

This is much better than expected. Looks good. Heavy screen. Great for having a cat that is in and out. Measure your door it seems narrow but fit ours perfectly. May just be the split design. Can be removed for winter as screen attached by Velcro. Don't try to use on door in the sun because the adhesive will melt.Update: easily removed and stored for the winter and now it is back up again for a second season. Looks beautiful and functions perfectly. Perfect for a covered patio. A really great deal!

Easy to install and generous supplies, but the mesh is very delicate. Less than a month and hardly used, it already has a torn in the middle now.

I bought this item specifically to use when my very active rescue cat is out on my walkway (I use stacked wooden baby gates in the entry to keep him enclosed, works great!) so he can enter and exit the apartment at will with the door open wide.This is the third of this type screen I have owned and it is by far the best. The pic view is from inside my apt to show the cute little valance detail. I literally had it up in 5 minutes and, although the adhesive is very strong, I used the enclosed tacks, too, as Buddy's favorite thing is to run through the opening, both ways. He literally jumped on it once with his claws out apparently, but barely put a mark on it. Seems very rugged. Much better than I had hoped for, given what I needed it for. (And if Buddy tears it up, I will buy another one! lol)
