Very cool RC quadcopter
This review was written by my 10 years old: I had never flown a quadcopter before, but I found the Beetle very easy. The flight is very stable once the trim was calibrated. It is also well built - I have flown it into walls and crashed it from over 50ft high and it was perfectly fine!! With the other quadcopter I had (Hubsan), the propeller came off the second day. I tried putting it back on, but it kept flying off. The propeller also came off the Beetle, but I was able to put it right back on and it stayed on! Definitely recommend it.

Great, with some issues.
I got this quad because I had no quad I could fly indoors. I must say this is quite a nice little quad. Decent protection (though I haven't managed to snap something yet) and a nice overall quad. The transmitter feels nice in the hand. Has 4 digital trim adjustments you can adjust. One note one may find useful. Do not try to connect the remote to the quad while in a room with laptops and desktops all around you. It would not make the connection. One minor complaint I have is the battery connecters are incredibly delicate. If you have large hands like I do, be prepared to spend some time connecting them. Other than that this quad is really great! Flies nicely and takes off when you tell it to.

Defective, and attrocious customer service
This product arrived defective, with one of the motors not working properly, resulting in the craft always veering off uncontrollably. To make matters worse I wrote to the supplier for assistance and had to deal with a truly obnoxious person who did not read my initial email, and then became increasingly surly. So not only is there a good chance you will get a non working product, there is a very, very good chance you will get rubbish service and attitude from the people who sold it. Avoid this product, and avoid this vendor, is my strong advice.

Disappointing compared to other similarly priced options
This quadcopter is much bigger than I expected from the pictures. Out of three different quads I bought for my nephews, this was the most difficult to fly and I wouldn't recommend it for kids or indoor use (unless you have a large open space like a gymnasium). It is nice and sturdy, with what seem to be carbon fiber-like arms. The beetle body is just a thin plastic cap that sits on the top. The nephew that got this one was hesitant to fly it because it was not as responsive or maneuverable and he preferred the other ones. The remote is unnecessarily complicated and the instructions are primarily in Chinese with poorly translated brief English subtext.

Ladybird vs Hubsan x4
About the same size as the Hubsan x4 models. This has a better control range (100-150 meters) than the Hubsan, uses same size batteries. The Hubsan is more stable, easier to hover. The Hubsan lights stay on even if throttle is at zero, but the ladybirds turn off when throttle at zero so harder to find in tall grass or at night. When battery is low, the Hubsan's lights blink rapidly, but not the ladybird. Overall, owning both quadcopters, I find the Hubsan easier to fly and with a few more features, like rubber feet, a prop guard, low battery warning.

Lots of Fun for Intermediate Flyers
I have a few gyro-roter toy copters and this was my first multi-rotor. It took me 10-15 flights before I was very comfortable with this thing but now I love flying it. I fly it indoors (small apartment) and outdoors. Crashed it a lot (but not hard) while learning and it still flies good as new. Probably on the challenging side for kids under 12 years old unless they have flown a lot of RC copters before.Has different sensitivity settings, 20%, 40%, 60%, and trick mode 100%. I started on 20% and flew it like that for a few weeks before moving on. I now fly at 40 and 60 and it's much more responsive and zippy. 100% is impossible, it's for people who know how to do flips and 360s.Really fun, comes with 2 batteries that charge via USB and last roughly 8 minutes each.

Great Helicopter
This helicopter is great and very durable!! it is kind of hard to fly, but fairly easy to learn the controls. I recommend this to intermediate flyers. The best part is the ease in doing flips in mid-air! I would highly recommend this product!

Defective
Purchased yesterday. Arrived today as expected. Packaged well. Terrible instructions - pictures would be way better than broken English. Charged batteries, 2nd charge port failed the 2nd time I plugged battery in and would not function after that. After charging batteries, followed instructions and videos online. Transmitter would not bind with the receiver so I could not fly. Very disappointing. I'd be happy to give it a better review, if someone wants to send me a new one. Returning for refund, which is my only option apparently. Lame.
