Basco Infinity Semi-Frameless Sliding Shower Door, Fits 54.5-58.5 inch Opening, Clear Glass, Brushed Nickel Finish

Bought this sliding shower enclosure at the beginning of Jan 2024 for a major remodel we were doing on a 1910 home and did not open the box until Dec 24 when I intended to complete the shower in our second bathroom. I then discovered that I was missing a bunch of parts and contacted Basco Customer Service the day after Xmas to order new parts, fully expecting to pay for them given the 11 month span it had taken me to notify Basco on the missing parts.Janie in Customer Service was super kind and understanding and shortly after I sent her my complete list of missing parts, she replied with my tracking number for the shipped missing parts. To add further to her great service she did it at no additional charge, choosing to trust me that we had not received the parts. Their commitment to Customer Service went way beyond what I ever expected. Thank you Janie and Basco Customer Service. You have a very satisfied customer!

I love the look of this door and it was a great price but. . . . I had professionals install it, and as they were sliding the doors in the frame, both glass panels shattered, covering them with glass and causing minor injuries. So glad this didn't happen when my children were using the shower. My installers say the glass was not tempered properly. Warning to all - do not buy this door. It is dangerous!

This is a beautiful shower door. I bought 2 for my new home. Every one loves them. They r elegant looking. I had the aqua dry coating put on them. It really helps keep them clean. I would recommend them highly. I had someone install them with no problems. Connie St Marys WV.

Basco makes a nice product. These doors have a better quality than most of the stuff that you will see at the big box stores. Be aware that you might want to order them early if you are renovating your bathroom. It took a month and a half for me to get a set that wasn't damaged in shipping. I would say it is partly Basco's fault and partly the shipper's fault. Basco doesn't put enough protective material around the doors while the shipper can't lift these doors (large, very heavy box) so they probably get tossed around a bit.Delivery attempt 1: The doors were not delivered because the shipper indicated that they were too badly damaged. Delivery attempt 2: The doors were delivered but there was heavy damage on the box. The box is clearly labeled for which end should be up. Unfortunately, the shipper dropped the box on that side. All four hinges on the top of the glass doors were damaged, with two completely ripped off of the doors. Amazon was awesome and sent out another set. Delivery attempt 3: Everything finally went well and there was no damage.Install is pretty straightforward. My Dad is a retired carpenter so it was a piece of cake for him. Just make sure to measure twice before you cut the metal frame on the top and bottom. Take your time with the silicone and let it sit for a day to make sure everything is watertight.Likes:1. Nice, clean look compared to a shower curtain (subjective).2. The doors can slide completely past each other, which makes cleaning easier.3. The rubber stoppers in the frame are easy to remove when cleaning.4. I use a rubber squeegee after every shower to get the excess water and the doors dry without leaving spots.Dislikes:1. The outside edge of the frame on the bottom could be the tiniest bit higher to prevent water from splashing out of the shower (very minor complaint).As of January 2017, I've had these doors installed for about six months now and I am happy with them.

Nice product, the instructions were not great.......but that being said as a “pro “ installer there customer support is fantastic! FYI if your not a professional installer, this door requires 2 people to install, if your not mechanically minded , get professional help

Very pleased with shower doors and quality has exceeded our expectations (especially for the price!).

We ordered them they looked great in the box we are honest people and don’t need money or things for free we admit our mistakes. We opened the box installed all the items husband installed door number one went to install door #2 and picked it up and it exploded! Called the company told them what happened and they said it would be 460 for the door and 125 to ship it! So first of all if we hit it on something or it was our fault I could see paying for a replacement but picking it up and it exploding and it cut my husband whom has heart issues and is on blood thinners so added insult to injury! Terrible company terrible customer service! So I wanted to post our experience so if it happens to you this is what you can expect from them! Have a blessed day!
