Works amazing on both cameras! A while ago I bought a small set of 2(different brand) within two days of shooting I lost both of them because they were just too loose. This one? Holds on great. It’s sturdy, Comfort is well, Little bit expensive in my opinion, but amazing product. 10/10!!

I tried some others that said they would fit, but . . . this one snapped right on and gives my eye the protection from outside light that I need.

I knew going into the Sony A7C that light leak would be an issue -- it's a shame Sony completely overlooked an eye cup for it, especially considering there is one for the a6X00 series cameras which are comparable to size. My A7C is brand new and I got this item before I even took the camera on its first daylight shoot/event, so I can't really compare it to anything. But, with this eye cup on, I definitely feel both the comfort and functionality of it! It cups my eye perfectly, is extremely comfortable, and it'll reduce the amount of smudges that end up on the EVF from constant use and eyelash contact. Overall -- it's a great design and lines up perfectly. You do lose the functionality of the hotshoe though!

I didn’t think I’d miss having a larger evf when I got the a7c but when I started shooting outdoors esp in broad daylight the lcd screen proved very difficult to view- This has proven itself to be very useful in these situations and it fits pretty good with room for the articulating screen to move and flip around. I only wish that it didn’t have to use the hot shoe plate to attach the camera. It might be because of the design of the camera but I wish there was an option that attached directly onto the evf freeing up the hot shoe plate.

This cup is a virtual must have for anyone using a A6700. It cuts out the light so much better then the stock cup. Soft and easy to press up against ones eye.

What can I say, this viewfinder eyecup works well with my Sony a7R III. It stays on and in the midst of the summer sun, shields my eye very well. No glare, no squinting, no material quality issues. It's a simple replacement that will stay on 100% of the time on my Sony a7R III.

This eyecup does an excellent job of shielding external light from the viewfinder, and is comforable with repeated use.

Want to feel fancy at the expense of light leaking into your viewfinder? Then this is perfect for you! It’s not great—pretty stiff material and not a great shape for the eye. But it’s better than nothing. And I had nothing. Makes it harder to fit well in camera bag, of course.
