An impressive clumping litter!
I have four large, indoor cats and we get though sackloads of cat litter. I have tried so many different brands and until now have not shown any brand loyalty. However, I was getting a little fed up of how dusty many of the clumping cat litters are that I thought I would give this a go. The fact that it also has active carbon to counteract bad smells was also a great marketing idea.I bought two 10l sacks and have almost got through the first sack now. There is no smell from the cat trays, even when they have just visited there. The grit does track a small amount around the cat tray, but does not get as far as most other brands. I also use a litter catcher mat under the trays. The size of grit is relatively very small, which means it doesn't hurt my bare feet as much as before. It clumps up nicely and is easily scooped out of the tray. It also feels less heavy than some of the other clay based brands which is great as these large bags can be quite weighty to lift.I will be buying this again, despite it being a more expensive option. The benefits outweigh the cost.

My girls are happy so I'm happy
After using catsan cat litter for years the quality seemed to be getting worse, not absorbing or masking smells. After switching from one brand to another I decided to try this one.I'm so glad I did, as it masks the smell, it's easy to scoop out and most importantly my girls like it.I clean it out twice a day, top up a little when needed, then after 2 weeks it gets emptied, cleaned and refilled. With having 3 girls, other brands I was having to clean out the entire thing after 3 days. One thing I would suggest is buy a litter mat, yes theres some tracking but not as near as much as the more expensive brands

Sticking with this one
This litter would have 5 stars if not for the tracking. This is a problem with virtually every litter, but this one is firmly at the top of the hit parade on that score. I live in a 3 storey cottage and keep the litter tray in the bathroom on the middle floor. Despite litter mats, there is a substantial amount of litter on all three floors and requires at least a twice daily hoover/dustpan and brush of the stairs which unfortunately are carpeted. We are not talking a few grains here! However, in every other respect this litter is also top of the hit parade. For a clay litter there is very little dust, and there is none really until the litter has been turned over many times. When it is topped up, again there is no dust. It clumps into solid balls immediately, which is helpful as my cat could dig for England and if a litter takes more than a nanosecond to clump after she has had a pee it will be in a million pieces throughout the clean litter (enter corn chip litter!). There is ZERO odour when she does the other, ZERO. I am at home all day now and clean her tray after every time she uses it during waking hours, and I am not even aware she has had a poo until I am actually cleaning it out. Apart from charcoal, it also apparently contains aloe vera which is stated makes it softer on paws. I don't know about that, but it does have little green bits in it which look very nice! So I will be sticking with Biokat Classic for the foreseeable future (always hoping a non-tracking one will be invented), but I will not be purchasing it again on Amazon, where the price has virtually trebled since my last purchase. Zooplus sell it for 14.99 for 20 litres and will be my go-to now.

Best cat litter I've ever tried
This is by far the best cat litter I have ever tried. It absorbs perfectly and it never, ever smells! I fill the tray with half of the bag and then add the rest bit by bit when it runs low. I only change it when it's too low, well over a month and it still smells clean. It doesn't produce a lot of dust. The only downside is that it is quite thin and does tend to go a bit everywhere when my cat uses the litter.

Biokats Diamond Cat Litter
My cat likes this litter very much. I have 2 litter trays and she uses the one with this litter in it - so I think it's safe to say that it gets her vote!If you scoop immediately then the clumping function doesn't work - leaving it for 20-30 minutes before you scoop ensures good clumping. Also, be generous with the fill level - less than 2 inches deep and liquid soaks through and everything sticks to the tray. A deep tray with high sides is a must.Odour control is VERY good - even the most stinky poo odours seem to dissipate very quickly.I find this does track a bit - but they ALL do and I have found that a decent litter mat by the tray seems to combat it fairy well.I will continue to use this litter as it is very affordable and I haven't found a better one yet.

Leaves a trail
Its not the best cat litter but it's certainly not the worse.I don't think the odour control was great and the trail of litter around the room from my cats paws was a nuisance. I was constantly sweeping up the mess.Good points, value for money.Would i use again, the short answer No.
