Cute but plastic frame noticable up close
I purchased this clock and I thought it was really cute however the the red frame was a bit too bright for the rest of my kitchen. The location where I placed it I could view the clock up close and the plastic frame was noticeable to me. I think that if it was placed higher up on the wall while you looking at it straight on the plastic would not be as noticeable. I ended up purchasing a more expensive higher quality metal frame clock with a deeper red color that matched my kitchen better and return this one. Oh and I could hear the ticking of the clock which didn't really bother me I found it I'm pleasant but it bothered one of my other family members.
