Pearl H-930 Hi-Hat Stand

When I purchased the Pearl H930 hi-hat stand, I was looking for a low priced, decent quality stand to be used for my home practice drum kit, so I wasn't looking for or expecting this one to be more than that at the price ($99). When it arrived and I opened the box I could not believe how well constructed and high quality this stand was for such a low price. I mainly decided on this one because it has swivel legs to allow for a double kick pedal and there was nothing else even close to this price range with swivel legs. I have since used this stand on several gigs as well as with my home kit, and I could not be happier with it. The legs swivel enough to easily allow for the slave kick pedal and I can get the slave pedal right next to the hi-hat pedal. I also have other much higher priced hi-hat stands that cost double or more the price of this one, but this one is every bit as good. Highly recommend it to any drummer that wants the advantages of a higher priced hi-hat stand without having to shell out the big bucks. They are excellent.

I've been a drummer for 50 years. I ordered this last Friday. It arrived on Saturday. Easy to assemble! Great height! I don't like a low hi hat because I tend to bang my wrists together when cross playing. I took it to my gig and replaced my old hi hat...and BAM! Great! Very fluid like..sturdy...the three legs did not get in the way of the master/slave double bass pedal. I'm thrilled. I have the Demonator bass pedals...and this is a great addition to my setup! The price is fantastic. There are more expensive stands...but why pay for a name?

As with all Pearl hardware and drums its made really well and it will probably never break even with heavy use.Not one of my Pearl pieces has ever broken or ceased to function the way it was intended to which also makes it worth the price.Yamaha hardware is that way too.Same goes for the drums.There are screw holes for a plate so you could add one if you want the stability that a plate brings to a hihat stand but for me this stand works for practicing and a good backup if something breaks during a gig. I always carry a spare Pearl bass drum pedal too even though I use Trick Dominators.

This thing is a BEAST! It is the best hi hat stand I have ever owned. It is super adjustable and the pedal can swivel back and forth for tight space adjustment. It looks sweet too matching my demonator double bass pedals.

Excellent stand, sturdy, pedal swivels to allow for very customized position relative to location of tripod legs, quick, smooth action, nice chrome plating. I play barefoot and the smooth pedal is great. I'm a professional drummer with decades of experience and I don't see any reason to pay more for a hi-hat stand.

For the price this gets the job done. Very sturdy.

I needed a kick pedal for my new set of Roland VDrums and ended up purchasing the Pearl Longboard.
