Great quality
Works like a charm. Best honing steel that I have ever purchased.

Not what you see in the photo/video
The steel is a quality steel, however its not what you see in the photo/video. First the metal band around the guard is tarnished and looks used. Also, the label on the handle is missing. I was sold a used item but told it is new. I will keep this one but be advised.

this one is 12", a little longer than most. really nice on my larger knives. easier to establish a good rhythm, if that makes sense.

Rust (?) on the metal band on the handle.
The steel works great. I was surprised to see a rust spot (?)on the handle. I sent it back. I ordered and received a replacement. There was a rust spot on the metal band on the replacement handle also. I will keep the steel and try to get rid of the rust on the metal band on the handle. I gave a 4 star as the steel itself is sharpens well. Has anyone else seen rust on the metal band on the handle?
